O is the biggest troll for tips by far in the room. He's not bad, but when you get half the hands per down as another dealer, it's hard to pony up for him.

You mean, "nice hand", "well played", "good bet", etc.
All the stuff that dealers are NEVER supposed to say.
There are several other tip trolling dealers also.

And then there is dealer "k" with his "guess what, you won" everytime he pushes a small pot.

I think an extra dollar in the jackpot would be okay as long as they have the gift cards for hours played, freerolls for hours played and high hands. I think the draw of the high hands for recreational players plus rewards for volume would justify the extra dollar. Just keep rounding down.

Plus 1 to infinity on that. The room that starts this policy would be king.

The greed displayed at the Hard Rock in the form of raking no flop on a single raise drives me crazy - this should really change.

this is what annoys me more than anything (on the rare times i'm there). not only do they rake when there is no flop, the rake even 3 dollars! at least wait till the pot has at least 10 dollars in it (but really it should be NFND). they also shouldn't take anything for any jackpot on any pot that is under 20 dollars. i may be a little spoiled living near AC but that's how it works there. $4 max rake, NFND, and $1 BBJ (with no promo money taken out) on pots that are $20 or more.

i'll down at HR in 2 weeks.

true statement. the "good hand" garbage has to stop. Also dealers have to be consistent with running the game. Say there's a bet on the flop. Dealers are supposed to say "bet" not "bet 25" and if a player raises to 100, they are suppose to say "raise" not waste time counting it down unless a player asks. Are any of you 2/5 regs? or just 1/2 and 1/3 grinders?

Also have to reiterate that Joseph is best dealer in the house. Was stuck all day yesterday with ****ty dealers and he got in the box and really ran an awesome game for the 30 minutes he was in there. Someone said you can play with your eyes closed while he's in the box and it's true.

Better take that name out before your post gets deleted.

As far as the bet and raise, while they should not count it out unless someone asks, if its stated or obvious then I think it should be announced.

There are a few of us $2-5 regs on here.

Hey, Jack, when are the Apple giftcards supposed to come in? We've been waiting for weeks now and no one seems to have a clue.
2+2’ers – For those of you that won an Apple Gift Card in our September promotion, they are in! We sincerely apologize for the length of time it took to get them here. ~ Jack

While I am glad Jack of Rock is here on 2+2 now. All he has done is pop in once or twice a week. And not give responses to our many suggestions.

Very true. I would hope he could at least address the 1/2 buy-ins one way or another since that seems to be the most requested change.

Dealer "B" who talks in a very femiine tone but is a man may be the worst. Wants to throw a hissy fit anytime there is a dispute at table. Calls the floor over after refusing to put players hand (who folded out of turn) in the tournament into the muck claiming I need to not tell him how to deal.

As soon as he sat I knew he would insta tilt me

Jack, for the record, here's another vote for 1/2 and 1/3 changes (to 1/1 and a legitimate 1/2). And that's not to mention the numerous other regular players I've spoken to about it who totally agree. It makes the most sense for every type of player. Please consider.

Just to mention, when we got down to 3 handed in the $400 tourney tonight, we were at 5k/10/1k with about 525,000 chips in play.

I look over at the clock and it says next level is 10k/20k/2k.
What happened to the 6k/12k/1k and 8k/16k/2k levels????
I hope these aren't the same structures as your wpts are going to be.
Don't think you realize how big of a jump that is.

Also, at 5k/10k/1k I was told I can't bet the 1k Chips ; such as I can't open for 21k. It needed to be 20k or 25k I was told.
This has to be an incorrect rule right?

43 entries I think. Which makes it a good tourney with $2800 overlay + rake free I guess, minus the terrible rules.

Rumor had it there was a structure sheet for the wpt. Ron I think you mentioned you saw it, but it wasn't ready for release. I guess, Jack... Can we see the structure for the wpt tournaments? It's less than 4 weeks away.

I also only play $2/5.
I don't like the structure in the 1/2 and 1/3 games and agree with the changes proposed here.

Just finished a 20 hour session at HRH. Played $1-2 min $100 max $300. The game is much better. I got creatively bluffed against at some spots cuz of deep stacks. I returned the favor in other spots. These things would almost never happen at HRT since at $300+ people have a tendency to leave the table. At no point did anybody complain about the buy in rules. Those who wanted to buy in short simply did so.

The average initial buy in AND rebuy at my tables (sample size 4 so grain of salt necessary) was $200 a few max buy ins and 1 or 2 "short buys" at $100.

At most points with a full table (at HRH half the tables were 9-handed tables, so full = 9 here) there was ~$1500-$2000 on the table. In one case the table hit <$1000 and in another instance we had >$4000. Again small sample played Thursday through Friday (day and night).

The games in Tampa would change dramatically if we change to $100-$300 1/2 NL. Ok. Post again soon, take care guys/gals/pals.

Addendum: the promotions def caused a shift in play. Their high hand instigated a lot more suited connector play and even hands like Q2 as 22297 boards would result in high hand quads cuz kicker plays. I saw a few huge mistakes/chases with hands like these ...opened up the game a bit overall..
