When I was there Friday to take my nieces to Criss Angel I saw a sign that said they now have $1 blackjack? Did anyone check it out? I wanted to check it out, but didn't have a lot of time and was able to get seating right away in the poker room for a little bit while they went to the show. Just curious about the $1 blackjack.

$.25 vig on $1 thru $9 bets. No vig on $10-$500

Wow really? So you have to have a stack of quarters next to you as well as your chips?

true, but if playing over $10, I presumed that it wouldn't be done at the $1 table

Does anyone know if Foxwoods does anything special for higher rollers for the Super Bowl?

Do they do it every year, or just when the Pats, Giants or Jets are in it? Tee Hee, just kidding about the last team

Do you mean the bowling alley or big gamblers?

Why not?
It's a $1-$500 spread, great game for novice card counters!

They hold an event in 1 of the ballrooms to watch the game. That's it. They do it every year.

How are the players in the 20-40 Limit Hold'em game these days? Is it nitty or loose, passive or aggressive? It's been a while since I've played. I'm wondering if it's better to re-read Small Stakes Hold'em or Winning in Tough Hold'em Games before I go.

This from Bravo app online

We are pleased to announce that 1/2 and 2/5 No Limit and Pot Limit players will be receiving 2 pts. per hour effective immediately, thank you for your patronage. ***************************************** Earn a Black Card in the Poker Room by playing 75 days and 500 hours in a calendar year and receive DOUBLE COMP POINTS

It's cool about getting 2 points, but as far as black card being in a calender year, did everyone reset to 0 days and 0 hours on Jan 1? My black card has lapsed but I thought it was a rolling year. When first of month came, days and hours of 13th prior month would expire and you'd then see your hours and days adjusted accordingly

Love the Bravo App!

I was only there a few hours on Friday while my nieces saw Criss Angel. I went to the self help kiosk for my points and it said that I earned 8 points while I played, I was a little surprized. So the $2 per hour is definitely in effect.

Players at the 20/40 are decent. This use to be my regular game 10 years ago, and now play only when waiting for a table at other games. For the most part players are decent. Two thirds of the table will play tight aggressive. The rest usually play tight passive, and occasionally you see one loose/weak. If you are not recognized by the regulars you are going to get tons of action. Most will play you loose aggressive taking most hands to showdown. This lasts for an hour or two until they figure you out.

spent 4 days playing high stakes blackjack and craps...what do i get for my efforts?

went from free rooms to $99 and went from $30 free points to $5

also i got maybe 50 points on my card
7-8 years ago it would have been 800 points easy
