Pick them up at the theater box office the night of the show. Give them to the wife and head to the poker room to flop the nuts all night!

Just need to show ID when picking them up, not needed to enter arena. Usually they can be picked up around noon day of the show. Can't be picked up on days before show is scheduled

In their tournaments, it would of been binding. Which leads to my question: are their cash rules posted online anywhere or is it just their tourney rules?

i would like to visit foxwoods soon. for 2 reasons.

1. they are the ONLY casino in the USA still offering $10-20 stud, although bravo dont show it going all 24 hours.

2. the $1-2 blinds PLO or PLO8 seems to go daily. usually hi.

in the old days i never could afford to play stud bigger than $1-5, and then the game died off. most of the last 10 yrs i now just play $1-2 and $1-3 NL for about $12 an hour in the long run.

am finally able to afford a higher limit game, but i tried $20-40 at the commerce and its a bit too high. no one else has anything in between, but foxwoods.

heres the REAL question for the forum--if i get to foxwoods, and start playing an average of 10 hours a day,7 days a week, how long must i wait til i get cheap or free priced room offers? ill need them in the first week or two, not 2-3 months down the road. i might not even stay that long.

i do see motels on priceline for under $40 a night, but it wont show the hotel unless u book it. any idea how to book the closest motel to the casino with the lowest cab fare and still cheap thru priceline? and maybe theres a public bus to avoid cab costs? maybe Uber is in that area? id have no idea.

It takes 2-3 months, that's just how it works there.

It's going to be impossible for you to stay for under 50-60/night once you factor in cab fare. The only places that offer free transportation are going to cost more than that.

Cash game rules are not posted anywhere, online or in the room. It is said that there is actually a written rulebook somewhere, but it is not available to players.
It's Foxwoods, Jake.....

They have a book I've seen it out a couple times before. On one of those occasions, they let the player that was disagreeing over the rule keep the book

I think the 10/20 Stud game has moved to Mohegan.

yeah ive been seeing 10/20 stud at MS for a couple weekends in a row. in fact bravo shows 8 people on the waiting list there right now.

is there any shot of a small mixed or 2-7 game going today/tonight? im kind of tired of NL and usually play at MS but they never run any variety of games. im thinking anywhere from 2/4 to 5/10 because any bigger and it will be a lot of regs and too high for really amateur players to want to sit down at to try it out

Foxwoods is only willing to deal. .Hold Em. They are too lazy.

Hopefully this aspect changes and is much different in the Mass casinos. Certainly, hold em players shouldn't have a gripe with FW.

I'm really surprised that Foxwoods doesn't have a play money poker website like Mohegan Sun does that you can win tourney buy-ins on! I'm aware of the online casino but not a poker site.

There's a club called Shrine in Fox Tower. Haven't been there in a couple of years so not sure what it's like, but they do have some decent DJ's regularly.

There's also the Scorpion Bar which is way less of a scene, but has some nights with karaoke that get pretty packed. But it seems really hit and miss.

They do have one. You just need to sign up with the play money site.

Hi all,

I don't get the opportunity to play live that often, but I'm on a trip and have part of a day to kill right near foxwoods, from around lunch till about 4. Is it worth playing a little or will I find that the tables are just filled with old men playing like rocks?

I expect that this thread will be closed or moved shortly. You should ask this in the Venue Sub-Forum in the Foxwoods thread.

If you can make money at those hours at your local card room, you'll probably make money at Foxwoods. If you are a weekend warrior that only wants to play on Friday and Saturday nights because people are drunk and spewing and you can win then, probably not.

The 2/5nl has a bunch of nitty regs that come from 8ish to 5ish. I've actually found 3-5 pretty profitable. Even though many of these regs play like rocks all day there is a decent number of them that try to get unstuck before leaving for the day. They loosen up and start playing ranges outside their norm. Many expect their rock image to get respect and try bluffs in weird spots. Basically they start playing a style they aren't very effective with.

Foxwoods is also big enough were the tables won't be all regs at this time.

Free rooms for February came out today, good to go for me. Unfortunately the site is Crazy slow today so booking my rooms was annoying and I only ended up booking for two weeks.
