Hey does it matter for points if you play higher stakes poker? Or is all poker treated the same? If it is different, how much different is it and what does a 20/40 hold em player get? Thanks.

From the FAQ in the 1st post of this thread:

Quote:
The amount of points you earn varies by game. Each game title will be followed by the letter L, M, or H (example: 1-2 No Limit M). This tells you the comp level for that game. L = 1 pt/hr, M = 1.5 pt/hr, H = 2 pt/hr.
20/40 limit is H, so 2 pts/hr.

hows the action this week? I would assume people on vacation so room is busier than a normal weekday? some nice tournaments later this week also....

If you want action, get it now. Games will be plentiful on New Year Eve's Day and New Year's Day (50 tables per day). But after that.... not so good.

do rooms have dvd players or is it just overpriced on demand movies?

The latter. But if you brought one you could hook up to the TV.

Amount if time spent talking about bbj is negatively correlated with skill level. I am thankful for this info, but at the same time the bbj talk is so grating.

Room seemed busy today I had a good 1/2 table a stradles, only 2 or 3 people called me out as a nit life's good

They had that a few years ago in Atlantic City the casinos made more money on those tables then on the $10 tables.

I was wondering what was going on when I saw people betting white chips and stuff.

There are 4 total tables with $1 minimum. 1 in each casino

Just curious how do they collect the 25 cents? Do you have to give them a quarter with each bet? Seems crazy but kudos to them if they make money on it. Does seem like a desperate move.

How often are the mid-stakes OE games running these days?

Not very often, we have gotten a few 30/60 and 40/80 HOSE.. not always all the games but has always had OE in the mix... Not sure if that is mid stakes for you or not... That has been just the past 2 weeks besides that it's very hit or miss. Your best best is the 7.50/15 HORSE at Mohegan on Mondays.. I've never been over there for that game but they seem to get 2-4 tables.

That's a shame. Last time I was there was probably 2 years ago, we got a 20-40 OE game going, and most of the players were pretty bad. If I go I'll probably play the 20-40 LHE game that goes regularly and put in a request for 20-40 OE. I know Foxwoods is a Stud High player's paradise, but it's probably my worst game and the variance is too high for my liking.
