Can anyone explain the BONUS SLOT PLAY AND/OR FOXWOODS REWARDS POINTS offer to me if I wanted to try slots ?

Not once have I ever pulled a slot machine so clueless here.

I presume they give you a voucher for $10 to use toward slots ? Whats the cheapest slot to play in the casino if I wanted to kill some time away from the Poker Table ?

Do you swipe your players card into the machine or something to earn points ?

Any tips (other than don't play slots for some good cheap ones to play ?

Thanks !

The bonus slot play can be done at the kiosk. You select bonus slot play and it prints out a ticket. When you go to the slot of your choice, you put your players card in the proper slot and then put the bonus slot play ticket in the area when you'd put in your dollar bills. You'll see your credits and off you go.

They also work at Video Poker, Video Blackjack, etc. Basically all machines, except the bank of Video Roulette machines in Rainmaker, as that is the only one you could apply cancellation betting on (i.e. bet red and black at the same time).

Yea no more 200+ fields on Sat since they up the buyin from $120 to $160. I wish FW had left it at $120 since they added re-entries at the exact same time as the buyin change.

I would say 11pm to midnight. I saw it get chop 5 ways at 11pm when the avg chips were still 30bb deep. It's a pretty solid structure tourney for a daily, doesn't go as long as MS monthly $330 10am on Sunday which I think is a good thing.

They got rid of the 230 on Friday and are getting rid of the super bounty on Wednesday. Saturday is the only weekly tournament worth playing it seems

Should also mention you get one or the other. They either add points to your dream card or you get bonus slot play.

Right. It depends if they have you as a slot/vp or table/poker player in the system.

Confirmed, as I just found out today. Went to the desk, asked for a slot voucher......kid tells me I am a poker player, please enjoy a complimentary ten points

Oh well....probably better off staying away from those things anyways.

And this adds to my firm belief that Poker ONLY Players don't get free room offers regardless of # of hrs played.

You must pull slots to get free rooms on a regular basis.

I never go upstairs. I play 2/5 mostly and 20/40 sometimes. Free rooms through July.

blatantly false.

everyone pretty much gets 2 rooms sun-thu or sun-fri at 5/10 nl, including myself. seriously. and i am guessing because it is a high-stakes games, denoted by an "h" at http://www.foxwoods.com/currentgames.aspx

someone who usually plays 2/5 should experiment by putting in one long session at 20/40 holdem or 5/10 nl to see if offers improve the following month

I think its been established over and over and over in this thread that anyone that plays with any regularity gets free rooms, even 1/2 players. The only times that I haven't have been during summer months of last year.

I have played craps 1 time, 2-3 years ago, for less than an hour betting $10. Other than that, it's all poker

Are Thursday days usually crazy busy? I can't believe that a 25$ gas card promo brought a ton of people out from the wood works yesterday. But wow was 1-2 just a **** show yesterday. My first table had 3 3bets in my first orbit. My last table had what I'm sure was 3 other 2p2ers given that we chatted about 2p2 so when I proceeded to run as awful as Monday Tuesday and Wednesday I decided I should leave. I can't believe the level of aggression I saw yesterday at the 1-2. What happened to people check calling the second nuts because they were scared of the nuts?

the difference beteen stakes has little impact unless you happen to play an "h" game. the system sees no difference between 1-2 and 2-5 hours since both are "m"

Correct. 5/10 earns more points/hr than 1/2 and 2/5, that is why it is different comp offer-wise, as those players will generally have a higher daily point average.

Hi all, used to play in Tampa and sometimes Miami but just moved to RI. Am a massage therapist and been looking for a job. I know the girls in FL made pretty good money in the poker rooms but not much info about it up here. Any idea if it would be a good idea to work in the Foxwoods poker room? Anyone know what they make? Will they let you play in the room if you work as a therapist?

Want to figure out if its worth it to get my license in CT as well as in RI.

Thanks,
Alana

I've been checking on bravo, of course now that i moved away from boston and no longer come here regularly, it seems like 1/2 PLO and PLO8 have been running almost everyday here as of late. But why is management not taking note and offering PLO tourneys?

The rate is $20 per 15 minutes (+ tips) Not sure how much they get to keep though. None of the therapists in the room play (though I don't think any of them are poker players generally).

I have been too busy to make it down to FW to access my deposit box in the past like 4 months...in the past they sent a letter telling me I need to access it regularly or they will close it. Should I be worried they closed it without telling me? They would have at least called or sent multiple letters right? Anyone know if there is a number I can call?

I just got an email saying July 3 was now available with my free room offer, it was not previously I guess.
