I was originally going to but thought it would be better to hear from foxwoods people what differences to expect and there experiences.

The only option is Borgata. It's the best by far overall for poker and hotel. Harrah's has a soft 2/5 game when they run.

i"ve heard to be careful in the Taj parking lot. Last time i was at the Taj was a few years back. A pit boss was shot on the floor of the casino the week before.

I have never seen the parking situation at 11am like it is right now.

All the outside lots and rainmaker garage are full. If you are on the fence about coming today then come on down. It's a full casino. I think it is because of the home show.

I will never tip someone to park my car. I can park my own car thank you very much. Plus there's been plenty of valet stories on this board before.

I just want to say, screw the outlet stores and put in a damn expo center or do both.

A expo center would be smart..

good luck. I just got back from a week long poker trip to AC with my friends as well.. Over all I'd say harrahs and borgata are the best rooms to visit. Harrahs has a high had of 500 a hour spread across 3 casinos. Borgata is the largest and generally the busiest of all the poker rooms in AC.. As far as staying at the Taj, just becareful like your self I was a AC virgin, and when i was talking to other players and dealers in local casinos everyone was saying stay away from taj, room sucks, too many hustlers and far to much trouble aka thefts hookers and hard drugs in Taj.... If you get hungry late at night check out pizzeria del romano its right near trump plaza, bomb pizza and open 24/7

Lol at being too cheap to pay $2 to simply drive up to the casino, get out and walk right in. Valet is the absolute best.

You know what's absolutely the best? Not having to wait for someone to go get my car for me at the end of the night. It's got nothing to do with being cheap. I tip the janitors in the casino but think what you want.

Yes, he may be cheap but he gave Shou $5 when he wasn't even in the poker room!

Yeah nothing worse than waiting for a guy to get your car in the dead of winter while you hang out inside on a warm bench.

I did not get free rooms for the first time in I think at least a year and a half for April. I'll be taking that month off for sure now, hopefully they can bring me back in May and I can celebrate my birthday at the woods!
I'll probably only go once in March and suck it up and play close to 24 hours in a gaming day, hopefully bringing my rating back up.

No, no love for Two Trees. I've actually never been in a room there but the people I know that have complained about it are far less picky than I so.......
I have never understood the whole "you're just sleeping there, it doesn't have to be extravagant" argument. Maybe it's a girl thing but the place I sleep and the place I shower are very important.

Two Trees has a gazebo, and is pet friendly. Win-Win.

I've never personally found evidence to support the complaints about Two Trees. I've stayed there several times in the last three years and have had no issues with cleanliness or service. I am not, however, a fan of waiting 15 minutes for the shuttle at 3:45 in the morning.

My personal ratings are Great Cedar>Pequot>>>MGM>Two Trees. Cedar's proximity to the poker room works for me. But, when they're free, they're all good by me.

I got diddly for free offers for April - which saddens me much, and my wife even more.

I've never had a bad stay there - it's just kinda meh though. But for many that's good enough.

Yeah there is nothing special about TT but it's good enough for me when it's free! I'd take the free two trees over even a $29 room at the other properties.
