I always try to stay where I play, whenever possible. I tend to play way too long sessions, chasing a loss, when I have to go stay off-site. If I'm running bad, I like to push a button, go to my room, have a nice bath, watch a good movie then go back down with a refreshed mindset to take back what is mine. Or try to.
I think jpsychlady had the best advice. Blackjack bores me to tears but I've always done decent at it. Just the same moves with the same cards really bores me. But I may just do that. I'll book maybe 10-20 hours @$25 a hand.
My trip isn't for another month so I am going to be diligent on looking at other options too. But I really, really, REALLY want to stay there. From the sounds of it, they are giving some discounts off the rack rate if you give some action in the pit.
Thanks for all the advice.
