Yeah. I asked a second floor manager about it the other day and he also confirmed that they're not planning on turning it on.

Last Saturday was a **** show and someone at my table became so frustrated that she asked to speak to a bev manager. She came out and spoke to a group of us. She was baffled as to what the problem was. Everyone keeps saying that they’re short staffed but that should not matter as the girls only have 4 table sections. The fact that they don’t have enough total servers is irrelevant if they aren’t being given larger sections because of it. She said that they were assigning a manager to be at the beverage station at all times to “help out” and try to identify the issues. Well a week later and things are just as bad. One of the main problems is that the girls will take your order then never fulfill it!sometimes it would take 2-3 hours and ordering several times before we would get our drinks. I’m at a loss on how to fix this issue.

One easy solution, stop pooling tips. No reason to work harder or faster if you know others will be slow and or lazy as well. I mean a server can make easy $30-40/hr+ just in tips if they keep up with the demand, most likely way more on a busy night.

Are you sure they pool tips? I didn’t think they did. I’ve heard from multiple employees that they make $18/hr + tips. You’d think that would make them hustle a little more

I found out from an experienced beverage server of mine who works there that it wasn’t actually true about their hourly. It’s something like 4.35hr but their tip compliance rate with the IRS is 18.

Maybe I ran good, but I was getting drinks every 20-30 minutes tonight from 5pm-2am in the non-VIP sections

Parking garage was fantastic last night. Left around same time last week, as when I got stuck in there for 45 minutes.

Got my voucher to enter into the machine and the arm was already up and I just drove straight out. So technically I didn't even need a voucher and might be worth a gamble for someone who didn't play poker, while leaving at a busy time.

Someone told me last night that they are going to stop validating for parking soon. I hope that's not the case.

My uncle went to Rare last week and he said the food was cooked poorly.

I told him it takes at least 3 months for a large casino to get its operations up to speed.

Will be interesting to see the result of this if it happens. Wondering how many people would not go if they had to pay $ 22- $45 dollars on their way out of the casino.

If this was the case I would NOT go Ever!!! I don't care what was going on or how great it was inside, just as a matter of principal I would choose not to go. I would feel like the biggest a-hole sucker on the planet if I payed those prices to park my car in Everett.

I get it they have to be vigilant about the parking to keep people from using it as a commuter lot for going to Boston but I'm sure there's a way to keep the freeloaders out while taking care of their gambooo customers at the same time.

Sorry if this was mentioned already; but I don’t remember reading it.

I was talking to a waitress Saturday night and apparently, there’s one bartender that needs to make the drinks for all the waitresses. She told me they literally sit out back and wait for their turn.

Do they need a bartender to pour my coca-cola? That must be it, because somehow I've had one waitresses never come back from that line, one come back with someone else's drink but not mine, and one come back with a diet coke never to be seen or heard from again.

Maybe I should stop thinking about it in terms of free drinks and more in terms of drink equity. So far I'm at 57% of a soda, unless we want to count diet as a chop. Oh well, I have been trying to cut down. I did get an orange juice once and it was amazing.

Today I walked to Mike's Roast Beef and their large soda is Texas sized for $3, FWIW. Their $7 sandwich hit the spot as well. I didn't think to check out their vegan options, I'm sorry to say!

I spoke to a girl that was the real MVP the other night. Won’t say her name but she was great. My table had been waiting for drinks for a while when I sat down.
I flagged down a girl that kept passing by, tried to order and was told to wait u til she was done at other table. After 20 more min she took my order and a few people. Came back 25min later with so,e drinks but not mine. Told me that she didn’t write down mine and forgot...
I ordered again and never saw that girl on the floor again. Then came MVP girl who must have been just getting in since I didn’t see her all night. I ordered and she apologize about the 2 hour wait and promised to be quick.
We all bet each other on a under/over 25 min which I took the under.
About 16 minutes later my drink and others in my table were delivered. (She served another table also before us)
She said there was one bartender and a small area to operate for the whole poker room and that she helps to get drinks out faster. Other girls wait I guess

Action at the tables is great though. I play 1-3 and been loving it. Had only one lossing session were players were calling big bets preflight with things like 23 suited and hit a monster against my KK and another time with T7o against my AT. Guy called my bets with a pair of T on the flop and kept Calling me down for huge bets. Hit the 7 in the river...
I was ok to cut my losses and leave ear;y instead of chasing a win. After all was my first day taking a loss so I want those players to keep playing like this.
Also they have a 4/8 Omaha 8+ running regularly now and is very good action. I played it twice and loved it. Had up and down session on it but profitable at the end in both. It looks very healthy and even a waiting list around 2am. Game broke after 4am after me and other big stack left at the same time. I am very excited about this spread.
I tried to make it a 4/8 with a kill or half kill but one player didn’t want to switch (real nit) played like 4-5 hands per hour...
Hopefully next time we will. If anyone here like that game let me know and see if we could get some of us together and request a game start.
