This is my only real concern. On my first table the shuffler was marking the whole deck. So many were marked that the floor actually refused to replace cards. By the time I was moved there were about 6 cards I could reliably identify from the back alone. Hopefully its just an issue of adjusting the shuffle machines as other tables didn't have any problems at all.

Stan promised that there was a yellow deck as well. I'm still waiting to see it

maybe i dont play at the borgata enough but i didnt even notice a difference and i knew about it ahead of time.

early afternoon game report please.

Didn't feel like making a whole new thread for this so I'll stick it in here. Couple Q's about staying there, not poker related.

1. Stayed overnight at the Borgata a couple weeks and I brought my laptop with me. When I plugged it in in the room they wanted to charge me like $9.95 to use the internet. Seriously? When I went down to the glass-enclosed-lobby-elevator-room I saw a couple people on their laptops. Is there free Wifi down there or do I still have to pay for it?

2. In order to get in that lobby room you need to show your room key. I had to check out by 11 or so but wanted to use the pool/spa so I kept the room key when I checked out (they didn't even ask for it). I still have the key with me. If I go down sometime in a month or so without staying over, can I flash that room key at the guy so I can use the pool/spa or do they change the design of them often?

1.) Free Wi-Fi in public areas (downstairs cafeteria, lobby, buffet etc.) When you are trying to access in your room, they will charge you

2.) Depends on the spa/pool there are several, My only experience is the water tower, and the pool is available with a room key, but to use the indoor spa pool on the 34th floor you have to have had a spa service...

(ie massage, 130 with a 25 dollar service charge... I would tip that much anyway, but it irritates me that they assume you will not tip...)

Or it costs 80 a day to use the spa there.

During my last trip when they came around at 6a.m. to collect the cards, I guess they swiped me out but never back in so when I went to clock-out around noon they said I wasn't clocked in and couldn't do anything about it. I think I used around $6 worth of pool and spa so I consider it even.

There are no PCG's at the Borg. The Taj does have a $5/10 O8. And, you don't need to wait for an update to find this stuff out...they have phones for this kinda stuff.
