Yeah, it seems like if there is a rule is should be based on the pot size, but be same rule for both limits.

I agree that RIT in limit would be silly, especially since it would just encourage short stacks to stick around, which really isn't good for the game.

Some Of these dual rate floor people are flat out atrocious. Guess its a way of cutting costs? Idk.

it's because when they first started doing it they experimented at 2/5 and there were so many wannabe TV pros that would try to run it twice constantly and would debate it for so long that it slowed down the game. people were doing it and debating it just because they could. add in the fact that the 500 max buy in puts you in all in pots more often.

it didn't take long for everyone to realize it shouldn't be at 2/5.

What's like a weekly rate?

There is no weekly rate. The first time you play you will have to pay normal rates (not bad during week) or stay elsewhere. Lots of cheap hotels in nearby absecon. After you have a history of play you will get room offers. Free weekdays easy to get, Fridays and Saturday's can be got if you play time games with significant hours (think 9 or ten hours a day). You usually can't get more than three comp nights a week.

Rule of thumb to get Fridays and Saturdays comped: average earning $10+ comp dollars per day (any day you use your players card for anything, including checkout). So 7+ hours at 1/2, 5+ at 2/5, etc.

We've always said $15 here.

If it only took a 7-hour average at 1/2, there'd be a lot less whining about not getting weekend rooms.

agreed. i've spent way too much time trying to crack the secret formula (and it definitely changed about 2 years ago).

but it seems to be a $15 average over your last 6 months.

That sounds right. I hadn't had my coffee yet and was thinking it was 7 hours at 1/2 instead of 7 or so hours at 2/5.

The Cafeteria is now closed. Its replacement opens July 1. (Or, at least, they say the Cafeteria is closed May 1–June 30.)

FWIW I played about 9 hours in the one day I was there at 2/5 last month and did not get weekends (no other play in the past year).

Chances are one session at 2/5 for nine hours won't get you free weekends. If you had a few sessions at a 9 hour average - it should be good enough to do so. I would think the once session did get you 2 nights a week - every week for Sunday through Thursday and discounted rates for Fri and Sat.

The replacement eateries are listed right on the wall at the bottom of the escalator that goes into the cafeteria. You can't miss it.

Weird question: Got black label last year via Caesars tier match but I'm not gonna hit the threshold to maintain it. Can I show my Caesars diamond card again or is that a one-shot deal? Just wondering if I can keep up the $10 buffets/Amphora.
