He left last July, he retired.

Here is a pic of me although I don't wear my hat to the Casino typically.

Just got a bad beat table share at 8/16. Somehow, this is the first time I've ever been part of one despite thousands of hours played in CAZ jackpot games. Better late than never.

CAZ seems to regularly run 20-40 with a half kill, I'm not sure what info you got from where. This is the highest limit game that I was able to find in Phoenix when I was visiting.

20/40 runs everyday and likely only dies frequently between 2am and 11am. Sometimes it will go throughout the night, or at least later.

40/80+ goes frequently, but there is usually only one game. I think 60/120 is almost dead, it seems if the game isn't 40, it is 75. Sometimes hold'em, sometimes mixed.

I miss the old days when there were 2-3 20/40s, 2 40/80s, and 1 60 or 75 going. I would be playing a lot more 40/80 if that many games were going.

Haha good guess. I was wondering why there was someone else raising before the flop.

If you build it, they will come.
This has happened pretty much every time someone has started a game hu below 75 at a 'reasonable hour'.

For some reason, no one is allowed to start 60 games. I havent gotten a clear answer about whether it's to protect the 40, or whether it's some newish change to gaming (it started sometime in February irrc). But the floor won't let anyone play 60 atm.

This has worked very well several times. The other times I get to play 1-2 hours heads up vs a world class heads up specialist.

Is this true? Some old guy told me this on Sunday, but I still continued my play like every few hours anyway.

It's true - you only have to swipe your card when you check in now and again if you've played for 8 hours and then swipe to check out at the end of your session. I think their vouchers aren't printing right though. I played 6 hours Friday and 7 on Saturday and nothing printed for me. I figure I'll ask them about it this weekend.

Yeah, I didn't get a comp last week and I played like 6 hours on Wed, 5 on Fri, and another 5 on Sat.

I swiped continue and it auto-printed. I also checked out at one point today and the screen said one was ready at the desk. I've gotten 4 or 5 comps there since Saturday from 28 hours of play (according to my own calculations). Not really sure how it works but they always seem to have one at the desk when I ask haha.

My experience is that they are very liberal w/ the food comps. If they can find a way to give you one they will do it.

I think sometimes CAZ does ante's too early and other tournaments not at all... Wish it was more regulated with a common structure..

i hate the no antes. i asked the TD about it once and he told me the reason they dont have antes is cuz to many players complained about it taking to much time

I refuse to play in tourneys without antes.

The blinds go up so ridiculously fast in their tournaments, especially at the end when the money is reached. This, to me, seems like the absolute worst time to turn the tournament into a complete crap-shoot.

Yes they need antes for sure in 100% of NL tournaments. Congrats on the score. What were the blinds at when you chopped and how many chopped?

The few times I have chopped the blinds were so high everyone had under 15bbs... I have yet to chop or play it out with less than 5 players.
