Make sure that in the same folder where the Monkersolver executable is located, or in the case of Linux the shell script (.sh), you have a folder labeled 'savedRuns'.

The main criterion for running larger 6-max sims is to have enough RAM. Other than that it's about your budget. Fast DDR4 RAM and a CPU with high performance per core is preferrable. For reasonable accuracy at 6-max and up (100bb+), you are looking at 256GB of RAM and up ideally.

Considering buying this software, but I'm trying to understand how many iterations I need to be running to get a reliable solution?
It seems like this is based on the amount of nodes? Or am I off on this? If not, what is a reasonable ratio?
Thanks
For preflop a good guideline is 30-40 iterations per node (I/N) and up, and for postflop 15-20 iterations per node and up. Depends what sort of information you are trying to gleam from the solution and how valuable that information is to you.

Is less cores with higher clock speed the way to go?
Yes a high core/thread count makes a difference, but the more threads you add, the more overhead there is for synchronizing those threads. Ideally you would have more efficient threads than simply a lot of threads. It's hard to generalize, because there are lot of differences between individual CPUs and RAM can also have an impact, so you need to evaluate it on a CPU by CPU basis. Just when you think a decision is close, go with the CPU with less cores, but higher speed per core.

In the 'Tree' tab go to 'New', then set 'Dead money (sb)' to '1'. Click on 'Custom blinds', and after the sequence '10,20', add '0,20', so you are left with '10,20,0,20'.
