Hi,

I would like to apologize for the issues you are having with HM2, Please go to C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Co nfig folder. (XP users will find that in C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Co nfig folder.

Close HM2, Look for the prefs.xml file (will be called prefs if your file extenstions are turned off) and make a copy of it, delete the original and restart HM2, please see if the problem persists with that version.

If this doesn’t solve this and you want your old hud settings back please close HM2, delete the prefs.xml file and rename the copy you made to prefs.xml and restart HM2.

Please let us know if the problem persists.

One relatively small thing I've noticed on zoom PLO is that the stars client says I have played less hands than in HEM2? (Quite a lot less like maybe 25% lower figure)

Does Stars not count hands you "fast fold" or something?

We have done extensive testing the past week to be certain that HM2 is importing all the hands that are written and didn't notice the issue you mention. In fact in all of our testing the number of hands in HM2 always matched what the stars hand history replayer/viewer showed.

The Stars zoom client is still in beta mode and has some uncanny bugs, such as: if you quick-fold a lot of hands and quickly close the table those hands will not be written to a hand history file. If the hands aren't written then HM2 can't import them. This would not account for the specific problem you mention but it is an example of bugs in the zoom software that we can not be responsible for at this point.

I would suggest you request your hands from the Requests menu, or better yet email them manually and ask for your hand histories because I think you can only request your last 200 hands (which doesnt take long on zoom), and import those files to a new database if you want to compare the hands imported during live play to the hands sent from their support. If you notice any discrepancies between the 2 sets of hands please zip the files/archives and then zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

I recently changed my e-mail adress in my holdemmanger account (on the website, holdemmanager.com). now I want to start syncing hands in hm2, it asks me for my password to log in... when I enter it a message pops up: "It looks like you didn't sign in with your HM2.com acc when you originally entered your HM2 serial. Please sign in now".
When I click "OK" (my only option) a new message pops up: "Error getting login information - e-mail or password is blank".
To clarify, this is before I have any window or anything to type my e-mail or password again.

What can I do?

thats pretty strange... yesterday I tried it 3 times with restarting hm and it never worked... today it did, so problem solved

also my previous problems were solved by deleting everything including my database and settings (didn't have too mmany importnat hands on this PC, so figured that might be the quickest solution)

since today my hud at zoom doesnt show stats anymore. worked before without problems...

- just installed newest update, doesnt change anything
- just checked, if both are run as administrator, doesnt change anything
- just checked, if hands are all imported, they are

- last entry in the error.log is from february

I've only started noticing the issue since updating to the last official release (I forgot the version, and I'm not at home right now). In both sessions, when I was on the "Active Session", the results window as well as the hands window to the right did not update at all. The Table Scanner portion, when toggled to worked fine. For the results section, if I left and went to a different window (like reports to see my results) when I come back to active session it has the current information (graph sometimes refreshes, sometimes doesn't). The hands section to the right did not refresh at all. Also, the "refresh" button at top is greyed out when I am on Active Session so I can't even try to force it to refresh results.

This has happened for my last two sessions. If you need more details I will try to send you some screen shots.

The hud worked already without problems. I just started today and it doesnt work anymore. I have hem2 (2.0.0.6545).
As you should have seen from my post, I have already tried some things and I also wrote an email to support with my log-file

right-click and exit will only disable it temporary. anyway to disable it permanently so i dont have to right-click it and exit everytime i start HM2?

Are you in Europe?
Change the adjust time for PokerStars from 5--> to 6 hours.

If you have auto refresh ON--> the manual refresh button will be greyed out. Auto refresh OFF--> it will be available.

I'm in US and don't play on poker stars.

Is auto refresh new? I used to be able to refresh manually..i'll have to look into that.

Just to reiterate that this isn't accurate. There are promotional banners on the note caddy website linking to note caddy advantage. I have seen a thread in the note caddy forum where he directs someone looking coaching to that website. On the website there are 3 named coaches, he is one of them. He is active in the 2+2 note caddy advantage coaching thread and is involved with payment processing.

So either holdem manager thinks this is acceptable behaviour or doesn't. You are promoting note caddy as one of the feature products of hem2. Without the proper support it is extremely difficult to use.

I just want clarity on your position. If it's totally acceptable then fine. Refund me for hem2, which I don't use; note caddy which I can't use; and also that junk table scanner that barely ever worked. I'll take all my future custom to poker tracker or anyone who actually cares about their clients.

At this point it was clear that I was not able to help you so case closed. The only thing I am guilty of here is not being tolerant of your extremely poor attitude. I have also promoted and provided technical help with other definition packages (see crushthegame.com, campapoker.com) because I want NC to be as valuable as possible.

In conclusion, your allegation of a conflict of interest is blatantly false. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings but with a major attitude adjustment, you will do much better in life

Appologies for noobish question, but just playing around with HM2 for first time upgrading from hm1 , and surpised to see there is EV$ for 45 mans, 180 mans and even mtts, this is pretty cool. Is there are article about it anywhere re how accurate it is or how its calculated? I did a search in FAQ and couldnt find anything. Thanks

As Pat suggested, you need to be certain that Daylight Savings Time hasn't caused the STA to be set incorrectly. Double-check the Site Time Adjustments (STA)in HM2 to make sure that the hands in the Reports are being shown as imported at the proper time for your poker client's lobby clock and windows clock. If the STA is off at all the Active Sessions tab will not work properly and this cause the HUD problems as well.
