I'm fairly new to HEM having only purchased it a couple weeks ago, however I do have my HUD customized to my liking and working perfectly on Full Tilt. My problem is I also like to play at 888 and I am having a few problems with my HUD there.

First, all my customization does not appear at 888.. I am assuming I am getting the default HUD set-up. Also, The info boxes are never lined up anywhere near the corresponding players and I am not aware of how I can move them on one table in a manner that doesn't adjust them on all the other tables.

My installations of both HEM and 888 are less than 2 weeks old and up-to-date. I've read elsewhere that I need to make sure my hand history is English and I have triple checked it. I also made certain that my HUD settings are set for "all sites".

I should also mention that I tried the HUD on Hold'em Indicator on 888 and have the same problem concerning the information boxes not lining up with the corresponding players. So maybe there is just problems with HUD's and 888?

So HEM shows both the pot odds and percentage in a live hand? I'm stuck using PT3 and have to take the time to manually calculate the equity percentage during the hand.

Can somebody please summarize the features or advantages of HEM that PT3 v3.10 doesn't have?

Nope, still nothing. It's blank, I've tried with players that I have large samples on. Used to be able to click the player active details button and have the tendencies and player comments there. Now, its blank.

The Player Analysis was very useful, unfortunately now its gone.

Also would please add an option where I can add in more of the note icon symbols. Currently you can only have one on the hud, I'd like to be able to have a few more. tks.

Hi. I have already put hold'em manager on my desktop and laptop. My desktop has long since died and I'm getting ready to replace my laptop. Is there any way of getting around buying another copy of HEM?

Hey, ive been having trouble with my hud lately and it wont start even if table manager starts up, sometimes it works but only on hu tables and not more than one at a time.

tried to update to the latest version (1.11.06d) but the update doesnt seem to work for me, after i installed the update holdemmanager is still showing a older version 1.11.02b so i guess it didnt install properly or something, and hud is still not working

any idea if i have to do anything else after installing it?

im a total computer noob so any help is appreciated, ty

It sounds like a problem where the poker client is not writing the files properly. Make sure you always wait to leave a table until after sitting out and the next hand has been dealt.

What site? What game type? If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.


Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Do the same above for any poker clients.

If you want to send us the hands we can do some testing but if the information is not there it is likely not something we can fix, at least not easily.

Move the files in the handhistory folder to your \hmarchive folder and import them via import file or import from folder. Large field MTT summary files can get stuck.

Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.

What you are describing is possibly happening because you long ago rearranged the HUD before setting your preferred seating properly. When you use a preferred seat and sit down at a cash table and get hud stats before playing, and then move the HUD panels before HM has imported your own hand, they will be messed back up as soon as HM imports your first played hand and repositions the HUD panels.

You need to make sure to not move anyone's HUD that appears to be incorrect, until you can see your own Hero stats. You can also use the HUD Options > Table Preferences > Mucked Card and Alignment Edit Mode to help align the stats and mucked cards.


Set the preferred seating for Stars in the poker client, then in Holdem Manager to match. HUD Options > Preferred Seating

Turn on Pre-Fetch. (on by default actually)
HUD Options > Site Options > Pokerstars > 5 (Make note of the pre-fetch folder path)

Options > Configure Auto import Folders > Add > C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data

Close HM and the Table Manager


Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.

\Holdem Manager\Importing\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt need to be deleted.

Start HM - Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and start stars and open 1 cash table.

After a couple hands it will pre-fetch some observed hands to show the HUD.

Use Ctrl+Right-Click+Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk). Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position the sub-panels for each player. Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.

Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play. If the HUD pops up while waiting for the big blind, do not move any hud panels. Once HM imports your first played hand it will spin the HUD to correct for the auto-center feature.

That is normal for Rush games. We are not able to show hero HUD stats on Rush tables.

This is usually because the Use For tab is improperly configured for one or more of your HUD layouts and/or you are not selecting the proper HUD from the Choose Configuration: drop-down menu. The Default HUD should be set to a site you never play, and make sure none of the other layouts have conflicting rules. Any time HM isn't sure which HUD to use, it will revert to the Default HUD (even if it is set to a site you never play).

You will need to set your HUD to Any Site or make a separate HUD for pacific.

I really can't say, I haven't used PT3 regularly in quite some time. They each have some features that the other doesn't. Many of our customers own both products for one reason or another.

The same code can be used on 2 pc's at once and can be reset as often as needed.

Please try using our site to register your current/new license. If your code isn't there already you can upload it manually and then reset the code whenever necessary.

You installed it originally to a non-default path and our update patch cant find that path. You need to manually find the path and browse there to update it properly.

right-click the shortcut you use for holdem manager and click Properties. Check the 'Start In' path. That is where the update needs to be installed to.

HI!

It seems like I have the post-update issue with the HEM HUD on Stars.

My layout is damaged and the stats are not shown properly for the particular players, so I presume it's just messed up.
Is there any way to fix it? It must be, because I couldn't play yesterday and saw all of the regs at the tables...

I downloaded the latest version of HEM and it still doesn't work properly for me.

You posted in the Holdemmanager forums too? I think you just need to rearrange and save the stats.

This deosnt seem to be the issue as it is installed in the correct path from the start.

When the update is installing it doesnt feel like it finishes as it only takes 2 seconds or so for it to be done, feels like its missing installing some parts or something. Have no idea what to do.

I would suggest a clean reinstall:

6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

Is anyone else having problems with the New Stars VPP stat? It's off by quite a bit for me.

I have played one session of omaha and a few sngs but only got a little less than 5VPPs for that. So it's still off 30%.

No, he just means to adjust the HUD positions, I believe.

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt.
4) configure your poker client preferred seating and seating preferences in HM accordingly
5) Setup HUD pre-fetch: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...h+Walkthrough+ (if on stars or ftp)
6) open one cash Table and adjust the HUD while observing. Move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions.
7) Then sit and play at least one hand so you can make sure the hero hud is positioned properly.
8) Table manager -> File -> Save positions
9) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

If that doesn't help, try the following:

5) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Yes I am using version .06d I updated earlier today. I just emailed support and included all the details like you asked.

Hopefully we can fix this issue but I would like to thank you already for the fast response.

I picked them up and will try to test them this weekend. This is considered a low priority bug though, so it may take some time to test/duplicate and eventually fix.
