Forgot to mention about Alphas that its ratings are in deep trouble. I would look at this as its last season, and that a season 3 would be a bonus. They need to do more USA network cross promotion, which was how I found it last year. It lost a lot of its lead in from Warehouse 13 (0.8 W13, 0.6 Alphas). 0.8 is typically the bubble for Mon-Thurs. cable ratings. My only hope is the ratings go up next week, but this show has been sitting on the bubble its entire run.

At any rate, I won't be truly happy until they have procured their minivan back.

Alpha's season one was really dumb and i think i lasted less than two episodes. Do not want.

Warehouse 13 squarely fits into my cheesy but entertaining sci fi show list. Did not really start off well this season though and i might be done with it.

Watching Hit & Miss last week. It was slow at times but overall pretty good.

Chloe Sevigny plays a transgendered hitman/woman. Lots of nudity. Only 6 episodes.

Anyone watch Bar Rescue on Spike? I've seen two now and definitely like it - a bar consultant takes dying bars and revitalizes them, the business side of it is very interesting.

It got old for me quick...Mystery Diners is better, they use hidden cameras and send in annoying customers to catch the employees ****ing up then confront them at the end. Usually ends with them being fired.

I've been watching the 2nd season of Luther starring Idris Elba.

Overall it's been kind of disappointing but the 3rd episode was very good.

Watched the one in VA with the two guys who knew nothing about running a bar. Crazy to think places like this exist (dead rats in the kitchen, the entire bar was temporarily condemned, etc).

The re-branding was definitely better in the two most recent episodes.

I admit it got pretty bad for a while (christmas episode with special effects lol), but in the end I think it got better. There were some really good episodes from the last season. I may be biased though as I've seen every single episode and was always a big Eureka geek.

For those of you who are fans of "The Roastmaster" Jeff Ross, he has about a million television appearances over the next few days. Tonight he has a special where I think he goes around roasting people? Not exactly sure. It might be bad.

Tomorrow is the Roseanne Barr roast. Then Tuesday he has his own weekly show premiering in what appears to be the popular format of comedians sitting around chatting. All of these are on Comedy Central.

has anyone checked back in w alphas? s2 started a few weeks ago. i just watched the pilot. i thought the s1 finale as an episode was really great but was worried w how theyd pick back up after how they left it. it seemed like it wud be really tough to do well w/o making things seemed contrived (i.e getting the gang back together w/o making up dumb reasons for doing that)- i really dont think they cud have done a better job and it looks like this season will have a serial arc which shud make the show even better.
