Oh and Tony is still lame; uncool + annoying as hell and Abud is still a total kid.

Skins is unbelievably horrible. I watched 2 episodes on mute the other day while listening to music and cleaning and then watched the third with sound. It's just stupidly provocative and if part of the idea is that everyone is uber hot for their age and whatnot, why do they have that blond-haired hippie freak and the Mexican/Arab/whatever the ****? They look like rodents.

Does anyone have an answer as to why I can't find season 2 of californication anywhere? Its not on netflix, and I can't find it at the couple remaining rental places. WTF?

After seeing a million promos for random TruTV shows while watching the NCAA tournament, I stopped and watched five minutes of Hardcore Pawn while flipping through channels just now. So much better than Pawn Stars, instead of a bunch of antiques it's grimy looking guys shouting down groups of Detroit's finest citizens and offering pennies on the dollar. Now someone is calling the po-lice, this is phenomenal.

Speaking of TruTV, did you see the show Southern Fried Stings? The description says "Who do you turn to when you don't want the cops involved? Southern Fried Stings follows ex-State Trooper and addiction expert Jay Russell as he and his team take on tough and bizarre cases. From pulse-pounding takedowns to high-stakes interventions, viewers are put in the middle of the action as Jay and the team serve up their unique breed of Southern Justice."

Totally a fake show, and by fake I mean not a reality show. Staged.

The only redeeming quality for Skins, I should say, is that it seems to be sandwiched between My Life as Liz and The Hard Times of RJ Berger, which are two of the worst pieces of **** MTV has ever aired.

I may have been the only one watching Fairly Legal this season, but if anyone else was, did you realize the David Smith character was MacGyver? Man he looks different now.

I've been watching. I can stare at Sarah Shahi all day, even though the show is pretty bad. I recognized him immediately, but my girlfriend had no clue. Found out last night and was kinda stunned.

Saw a trailer of Coal during UFC tonight on Spike, reality show about coal miners from the guys who did Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers. Looks decent.

Did anyone watch Alias back in the day? I watched the first episode recently, seemed decent. Worth getting into? I know it ran for quite a while on network TV, was just curious about some of your guys thoughts on it.

i watched the first two seasons, this was when i was younger and didn't have great taste in tv. i think it went a bit downhill from the 3rd season onwards.

i did like it at the time but it's obviously nowhere near the quality of the shows that get mentioned a ton in this thread. if you've seen all the great shows everyone talks about, maybe check it out.

you'll know pretty soon whether it's for you as i seem to remember each episode follows the same formula.

Alias is decent for the first year, but it very quickly nosedives into unwatchability. I think I gave up 5-6 episodes into S2, and I wish I had given up much sooner.

Glad they got her out of those high heels and token ass shots after the premier, she's great to look at without pointless T&A.

The show wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either.

for people that like history a show called The Borgias starts tomorrow on Showtime. its about an extremely violent and corrupt family who ran **** in Rome during the 15th century...looks pretty awesome, heres to hoping it is like a Renaissance version of the Sopranos

Anyone watch Breaking In last night?

Certainly the worst theme music of all time and a weird concept that seems a much better fit to a drama than a comedy (basically its a team that tests security systems) but Christian Slater killed in it and it seems to have potential with a pretty good set of characters.

It's objectively awful. It looks cheap, the accents are embarrassing, and it's boring.

I watched part 1 but have had the other parts on in the background while I played poker.

I was pretty interested in seeing it because I thought The History Channel wouldn't air it because it was controversial but they must have just passed on it because it was complete ****. Check out part 1 if you want to see a disaster but it really has no redeeming qualities.

+1 to all of this. Some pretty good actors mailing in performances as just impressions.
