so this Critics' Choice Awards (on A&E) isn't really drawing the star power

i'm recognizing like 1 person per table
each project's "star" seems to be like the 4th/5th person on the bill

It's painful when the presenters have to laugh at their own jokes because there is crickets in the audience.

I laugh plenty on Naked Gun type movies but this is just stupid.
commercial free but they keep plastering Ford logo and website on 1/3rd of the screen a few times. I will try a few more episodes because they are short and maybe find something funny.

The premiere of Billions on Showtime was good.

watched all of Six Feet Under in December-January, finished this weekend

Spoiler:
easily my GOAT. The finale was brilliant but to totally nit I wish they woulda told more about each character's future and not so much only how they died. They did a little but I coulda used more. The episode "That's My Dog" is probably the most shocking episode of tv I've ever seen.

Such an amazing show.

SFU is massively underrated. Somehow gets ignored or forgotten but it belongs firmly in the Wire/Sopranos/BB tier.

I couldn't get into SFU. I quit in S2. I just didn't find it very compelling. I don't know if it's underrated. A lot of people put it in that top tier.

i think 6fu in a tier above those other shows. never had i ever watched a show over 5 seasons and really gotten to know the characters as well as this. it felt like reality (minus some obviously goofy stuff).

Then again, I really love Transparent and Togetherness, so i'm just a soloway/duplass /this genre fanboy.

Though I thought True Blood was un watchable mostly after season 1, or sometime during that.

+1, will always be GOAT finale, at the very least.

It's BB, 6fu, MM, for me.

I got 6fu somewhere slightly above the middle of the 2nd tier. 2 of the 3 middle seasons really dragged for me. I think it was the first quality drama I'd ever watched. It was on demand and I remember thinking this was as good as it gets. Shortly after I watched Deadwood, wire, and the Sopranos and realized I was really wrong. It still has the best finale and will always have a special place in my heart.

Might get trolled for this one but I've been on a NCIS binge (lol) was starting to get bored of it mid-way season 7 but I think its hit prime second half of season 7 start of season 8...talk about longevity

I have the last 11 episodes on the DVR unwatched. I keep thinking I will get back to it but seems boring.

I finished the show a few months ago, watching it for the first time too. I have to agree, amazing show and amazing finale.

The episode you're talking about was insane, and I seriously couldn't look away. I tend to watch series on y computer's side screen, and (shame on me) sometimes do something else on the main screen - be it chatting, facebook, whatever.

I distinctly remember not doing anything else during the entire episode.

I also think it ties quite well with the rest of the season and David's story.

I hardly think it's underrated. It's literally at the top of most "topXXX series to watch" lists, everyone's singing its praises all the time. In a way it's a lot like The Wire, where people who've seen it can just go on and on about how great it is.

If it wasn't for the constant reminder of how good the series and how perfect its finale is, I probably would never have watched 6fu.

I'd place that show somewhere between Sopranos and The Wire imo. The Wire stays at my top#1, gonna be hard to bring it down from that place.

Wire is aight, way overrated though. I'm a Sopranos man, also Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

Now Deadwood I find unwatchable due to the dialog. Like nails on a chalkboard to my ear. I made it thru 2 episodes.

I think a big part of not appreciating the wire is growing up as a black kid selling dope.

Anyone watch new FX show by Louie CK starring Zack Galifianakis called Baskets?

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/6741/baskets

Chip Baskets (Zach Galifianakis) wants to follow his dream of being a French clown - however, reality keeps interfering. Saddled with financial difficulties and facing an impenetrable language barrier, he moves back home to Bakersfield with high hopes. There, he is forced to confront his past while working as a rodeo clown and competing with his siblings for his mother's approval and affection.
