Yea, it was ok. I really didn't know too many details on how Madoff F'ed everyone, so was cool to learn all that.

There's a show call Episodes on Showtime which is pretty damn good imo. It's a comedy (without a laugh track) about a pair of TV writers from Europe who come to make a show in LA.

Some of the first season episodes are meh but overall it's solid and seems to be getting better as I near the end of season 2.

There are 4 seasons.

Norway is #15 in oil and #6 in natural gas. China and Canada actually produce more oil than anyone in the Middle East outside of Saudi Arabia

USA is #1 and #1, Russia #3 and #2, Canada #4 and #5, Saudi Arabia #2 and #8

anyways came here to say I liked Mozart in the Jungle. so much dark and heavy stuff on TV now, fun light show to watch

Yeah I thought there might be but after scrolling down a few pages on my phone I gave up and came here but maybe I'll try the search function. (although searching for "episodes" likely won't go very well lol)

+1 on Episodes, solid comedy especially for TV enthusiast imo. Matt LeBlanc playing himself as a self-centered man-child is just great.

Just watched ep 3 of Outsiders, and still liking it. It's a bit like Mad Max meets The Wire with a whiff of mystery.

matt leblanc is great in episodes, but the show is pretty meh. the lead woman is unbearable.

Yeah, this show is kind of scaring me now. One of the trainers gained like 60 pounds and had to go on blood pressure pills.

Still fascinated by the awfulness of it though.

S1 of Episodes is leaker the nothers imo. I like that show a lot coz there its comedy/parody and i think that a had most lols with that show resent years and ofc with Impastor. Like all ep are great compare to other shows where there is ups and downs of quality.

Who doesnt watched it yet and like type of comedy/parody shows like Californication definitely check it.

Anyone here watch Wayward Pines? How good is it?

I've heard its super underrated and actually good. Plus it is getting a second season later this year. But then I read m ****e shamalamalan is involved and the rough outline of the show is not exactly premium sounding.

Watched the first few episodes of Man Seeking Woman after seeing it mentioned it.

Pretty good so far. The surreal bits feel a bit hit-or-miss, but I like that they're trying something a bit different with them.

I liked it. Kind of campy and in the same vein as a show like Lost

Occasionally, they have 1 that is cringeworthy bad, but quite often they're absolutely brilliant.

Cool premise, some good twists. I didn't think any of the performances really stood out in a positive or negative way. Requires a lot of suspension of disbelief, but if that's not a problem for you it's a reasonably entertaining watch. Getting to look at Carla Gugino is never a bad thing.

That's pretty much how I would rate it as well. It was quite decent, although I'm wondering what they will think of for season 2. I recall marathoning the first few episodes because it really had me hooked.

crosspost from stand up thread in OOT:

there's a triumph election special that's 80 minutes long. it could be condensed into 30-40 absolutely hilarious minutes, but alas it is not. it's a sketsch show and therefore a bit of a mixed bag - most of the stuff with triumph ranges from very good to gold, the stuff that he isn't in is a bit more all over the place. i recommend skipping the panel discussion bit if you watch.

here's one of the great bits (and even in this you can see how it could have been significantly cut down):
