Anyone watching Camelot on Starz? I see the first 3 episode are available on demand and was wondering if it is worth watching.

No spoilers plz, but whats the word on The Killing? Good, bad, gonna be cancelled mid season cos it has just 12 viewers, etc?

Re: Camelot, i dropped out of the thread after quitting the show on the second ep. Maybe it improved, but the casting seems terrible, the story is a bit hack and its really hard to think of reasons why id watch again. Then of the people in that thread im pretty sure i was the first to quit the show, but certainly no one was going in there to say how awesome the first couple of eps were.

Very good, solid ratings for the premiere.

I watched part 1 but have had the other parts on in the background while I played poker.

I was pretty interested in seeing it because I thought The History Channel wouldn't air it because it was controversial but they must have just passed on it because it was complete ****. Check out part 1 if you want to see a disaster but it really has no redeeming qualities.
Barry Pepper gave a good performance, Wilkinson was weak, which surprised me. I thought he would have gotten his teeth into a portrayal of Joe K.

I think the Kennedy clan protested over the Bobby-Jackie stuff. Its a part of their history I think they have the greatest distaste for.

Mortal Kombat Legacy seems to be shockingly good.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_Kombat:_Legacy

Its a webseries starring Seven from Voyager, the dude from Spawn, Helo from Battlestar and Dollhouse. The writers have heavy links to the Spartacus franchise and its based on:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_Kombat:_Legacy

Which, err, isnt released yet.

As a web series its not really worth creating a new thread, but it was too good to not tell ppl about it in some way.

I think this question can go here.

I'm trying to think of a tv show that isn't on tv anymore. I know the dvd sets were out in 2003, so it's sometime around or before that time.

The only things I really remember is that the main character is female and she's sort of like a cat woman type, glossy black leather, ninja like stunts...maybe set around a futuristic time frame. I'm vaguely thinking the name starts with an "A" but I'm not sure. I'm also thinking the environment was always dark, like an Alien vs. Predator kind of way.

I do know there were multiple seasons as I remember being forced to watch a ton of them.

Anyone have any clue?

There is probably a UK TV thread that i missed, if so could someone please redirect me, but if not:

does anyone know the name of a show (mini series i think) about a woman who was obsessed with numbers, and decided that she would marry the tenth man she slept with. therefore after sleeping with man number 9 she was really careful about who she slept with until she found the man of her dreams, who she then proceeded to sleep with and everything seemed perfect. that is, until she discovered a drunken one night stand she had counted as one of her first 9 did not actually involve sex, so mr 10 was actually mr 9, and hilarity ensued?

i spent quite a while searching for this but my google-fu failed me. a successful answer to this question will almost certainly get me some sex. thanks anyone who can help

Gigilos on Showtime is pretty crazy. It is about 5 male escorts in Las Vegas who work for a company, and details thier exploits while offering glimpses into thier personal lives. I've watched one episode so far and it shows some pretty explicit sex as far as Showtime goes. It introduced us to the four established guys and then bringing in the new guy. A couple of the guys come across as total douchebags, while the others seem alright.

Gotta say, it has a lot of flaws- but there were a few moments in Happy Endings that really had me laughing last night.

You're obv the first Coley.

It was pretty big hit up here and they tried to get into the US market after awhile with so-so success from what I heard. There's also 2 movies and they actually do a live show now the TV show is done.

<3 Trailer Park Boys. First 2 seasons were just playing in the background of my apartment for months.

I'm not sure if they did it every year but at lest 3-4 times they showed the season premieres in a bar in Halifax. They served cheap rum and cokes, pepperoni and chicken fingers (sick vegetarian beat ) and a bunch of the actors and Mike Clattenberg were there. good times.
