To be nitty, that was a panic attack (and a pretty good representation, especially how it ended like nothing).

Well excuse me if I don't cross-reference every ****ing name I hear in a TV show with every damn scientist who ever lived. Congrats on being an early front-runner in pretentious douche of the year!

heisenberg is definitely one of the most under-rated scientists, i don't think most people have enough imagination to really appreciate just how far-reaching the implications of his uncertainty principle actually are.

maybe you're right. didn't think Hank gave a **** about any of that BS.

theres no way jessie will kill anyone. i think Walt would be more likely to do it, but im guessing they will just have to hire some muscle. Im liking the way this is shaping up with Walt becoming some badass druglord. The thing is he could probably manipulate Hank into dropping bits of information so that he never gets caught.

cool show

lol to be fair i was about to own your misspelling as well until i saw multiple people already did. he's a scientist i remember learning about in high school... figured everyone should have heard of him. figured wrong i guess.

it also wouldn't surprise me if hank starts to suspect walt when he realizes/remembers that heisenberg is a scientist name and walt is a hudge science nerd..
04-07-2009 , 10:02 PM
i hope this series ends with Walt dying via Hank after Jesse turns narc.

That is such a huge ridiculous reach that I hope they don't go that route. That would be ******ed. There are much better ways to implicate Walt than "Zomg you know sciencey stuff it must be you!"
04-07-2009 , 10:19 PM
you can't expect hank to cross-reference every name he hears on the streets with every damn scientist who ever lived

At some point a family member will have to find out right? i dont know where the show would go from there though.

from next week's preview

Spoiler:
the rich couple that Skyler thinks is paying for the chemo come back into the picture and she finds out they haven't actually been paying for it.

show has been ****ing fantastic and is arguably the best show on tv right now

really hard to believe that this used to be the hilarious dad on malcolm in the middle... he totally owns his character now

There was a How I Met Your Mother rerun on yesterday and Cranston played Ted's boss at the architecture firm. Character was 180 degrees different from Walt, and also way different from the mugging, over-the-top, annoying Malcolm's dad character. Guy's got mad range.

Another excellent episode, best show on TV. I felt genuine pity for that poor little ginger kid.
04-13-2009 , 12:09 AM
Wow. One of the best episodes yet.

Walt is a badass.

The scene where Jesse is hiding the kid and waiting out the parents was crazy intense. Best episode of the season imo.

I do agree that Walt is a badass, but kinda weird saying that after tonight's episode.

The Jesse scenes were all crazy intense. I was genuinely touched at the end of the episode. Great episode.

Walt's conversation with the woman (forgot her name) in the Restaurant was just insane good acting by Cranston. Agree best episode of the season. Seemed to move at a faster pace than usual breaking bad.

Gretchen, **** YOU!

04-13-2009 , 08:08 AM
awesome

BTW, this episode answered the question of why Walt would turn down the money in Season 1 - considering what he believes he deserves from them, their offering to pay for his treatment is a slap in the face, not a generous act of charity.

I consistently cracked up with Walt getting lucky re: the Gretchen situation. When Skyler tells him they need to talk, the look on Walt's face after she says that they will no longer be paying for the treatment is priceless.

Yeah, they wanted to give him a $10 U.S. Savings Bond.
