You think there is not a chance that Jessie dies?
He hates Gus, he wants to do his own, has no ****ing clue as to running a meth distribution ring. How do you not ****ing know that money laundering is the most important thing in running any criminal organization?
He told to Walt's face, that he will rat him out. What do you think is going to happen? Either Jesse is "rescued" within the next two episodes or there is a decent chance (not above 50%) that he dies in the season finale.

maybe you haven't noticed... but this is a TV SHOW. If this were IRL he would have been dead long ago. Walt/Skyler/Hank/Marie/Walt JR/Saul aren't dying this season.

Your reasons are weird.
No one is going to die because this is a) a tv show and b) no one has died in 2.5 seasons.

There are so many things that havent happened until this season.

Great Episode. Especially Szchylor. I find myself liking her more and more, after getting used to hating her last season. I see her getting back together with Walt and further feloniously aiding and abetting his work. I think we are we might see her doing some more breaking bad of her own. Maybe squeezing Ted with blackmail or somehow taking care of Jesse if she realizes what a threat he is to the family income stream.

Jesse just wants to be a badass criminal. I could see him getting axed in the finale. I'm hoping they don't end the season with him in severe danger and rolling the credits right before "something" happens. That would annoy me quite a bit. But if they started out the season 4 premiere with him getting killed, I would love it. Now THAT'S ballsy.

I was digging the twins until they spoke. Had they just shown up every couple of episodes, never said a word, and just stalked their prey, I'd have like to have seen them stick around a bit longer.

Nice to see everyone taking my Skyler joke even further.

"I thought the car scene early in the ep where was Scialiar was asking Walt is they were in danger was a nice callback to Hank's shootout in the parking lot"

This one was a little ridiculous. lol.

This seems very, very likely after the focus on him pushing the button imo.

Loved the ep as usual. So many good scenes, My faves were Jesse telling the box story, and the scene/drive afterword with when Walt met w Gus.

Hated the scene where Jesse has his underlings planting seeds at rehab. It worked on a comedic level, but felt like it wasn't true to his character. Rehab seems to be the one few things he takes seriously (besides cooking). It's not very believable to me that he would just relapse all his fellow addicts like that. Am i missing something???

Also...there is a ZERO percent chance Jesse gets offed this season. This show is as much about their "odd couple" relationship as it is about Walt and his family. NO CHANCE the writers screw that up!! Jesse's story arc will end at the same time Walt's does.

I didn't mind the twinz. I just took them a little tongue in cheek, inline with the shows almost hyperbolic dark comedic styling

I thought this was just to show again that hank isn't as tough as he appears, instead of suffering through the pain, he relies on the morphine, unlike jesse who just dealt with it. I know the level of injury isn't near the same, i thought they might be trying to make a point though.

I did think though that he might be pretending to feel something when the doctor was testing his foot, as he didn't feel anything the first time, then the next time he tried marie was looking at him like he should be her rock, and he "suddenly" felt something.

Jesse is starting to annoy me, at least the writing of his character is. 2 episodes ago he gives 2 well delivered speeches, then the next episode he's a ******. Then this episode he's great in the rehab scene, then a moron again. PICK A THING AND DO THAT!!

Next to his buddies, he's a genius.

thought the exact same thing

Yeah, felt he lied about feeling his feet too.

Not enough love for Jesse's terrific monologue at rehab re: the woodshop box. Paul's acting was stellar as usual imo.

I think there is some element of Walt wanting to feel alive. He went from having a constant adrenaline rush, to being a glorified factory worker. He makes his big power play and Gus pretty readily accepts his terms. His speedy drive adds uncertainty in his current mechanical life.

Yeah, maybe like Jesse he wants the rush of being an "outlaw", of being badass Heisenberg, rather than Walter White the chemist. I mean it's more like what he had as a teacher. When he was Heisenberg he was in control, now he works at the whim of Gus, and has no power. He doesn't know what Gus' endgame is (like how he was asking what happens after the 3 months are up), so maybe the car scene was symbolic of his surrender are power and control to Gus.

Even the way he went into the meeting, he said to Gus "let's lay all of our cards on the table", he did (telling him he wanted security), but did Gus tell him anything really? Walt has no leverage, power, or anything. Walt can't be entirely happy about the situation.

The only thing that made me wonder was, why he didnt ask for more money. 15mio p.a. is a sick amount of money, but he didnt even negotiate.

Walt is completely hopeless at the moment. I think he is constantly looking for someone to connect. Right now he has no one he can trust.
05-17-2010 , 06:03 PM
it's not the money, it's about the protection gus can provide if walt works under him.

i still think, in the end gus is going to off walt

Yep. Thought the same thing for sure. No way do you not feel first thing and then later on.

Also surprised that nobody else tested him before...like his wife or something.
