It sure is weird that this TV show full of characters relate to each other and stuff. I mean why aren't we just watching 17 random people from New Mexico who have no idea who each other are?

Because the guys presumably wouldn't have seen he wasn't there and just decided to call it a day and head back to mexico? It's also very possible that he was in work that day, he just didn't have a class to teach until 11, for instance.

he would have been murdered eventually. the twins would have just waited in front of his house until they thought it was the most appropriate time to kill him. it's not a big coincidence the twins showed up at a time walt should be working either. these guys are professionals. they're not just going to show up, kick in his door, and lulz bang bang. they're going to scope the place out, feel out the dynamics of the neighborhood, and then go for the kill. so it's completely plausible they were there just to scope the place out, which is probably the first thing they would do after finding out his address. so the twin being there the next day, early in the morning, isn't a big coincidence at all.

also, re: pizza on the roof. The one in the throwing scene was clearly some sort of prop pizza. The pepperoni just started sliding off after it landed. The one shot roof down later was a real pizza.

i thought it was just a big cleaner. he's probably got a bunch of "clean" businesses.

maybe Walt knows Skylar has to be at work at 830 AM so she drops Walt Jr at school but school doesnt start till 930... that leaves Walt the window.

The only one to even think about is the twins, but again what would be the point of showing a scene where they are at the house but walt isnt there? There are certain assumptions you can make like that they are there staking it out. If I remember the scene correctly don't they just come out of the left side of the screen walking with the Axe's in their hand? Also they don't enter until after Walt is in the shower so this is after he tries all the windows, then crawls through the foundation, so I'm assuming they were probably staking the place out as well.






Also, I can't believe you are even confused as to the relationship between Pollos and the cousins. Tuco worked for Pollos selling meth for him. Walt enters the picture during the relationship between Tuco and Pollos (even though pollos isnt introduced till later)

Doubt it. Gus seems to have a big influence. Tuco wanted Walt to come to Mexico with him and cook meth. No way on earth would that have happened if Gus was in the picture....

i actually agree with that. i'd have to rewatch.. was the "pollos" call to one of the cousins phones or to Walt's? I took it less as Gus had direct connections, more as the cousins knew that Gus was the biggest player in town, and to cross him meant seriously trouble.

whoa i guess i'm dumb. i assumed one of the brothers got a call to stay away from walt. now i finally realize they saw walt's phone ring and the caller ID and were like "oh sh**, this hit will have repercussions" and took off.

The message was from Gus to the twins. At no point do they show Walts phone.

Wrong, that was Walt's phone sitting on top of his clothes. Seriously, I don't know how some of you can watch TV shows and miss such obvious stuff.

One of the twins picks up the eyeball on the pile of clothes, looks at it then throws it back on the clothes. Then the other twins phone goes off and he pulls it out of his inside top left pocket. Can someone else rewatch that scene and confirm im not blind.

lol, yeah i was thinking the same thing (how could i miss that?). sure sounded good though, if Gus was calling Walt but the twins realized they were connected and backed off, for whatever reason.

just watched the recap on amc. gus sends it to the cousins directly.

TV shows (even Lost) are not supposed to be dissected in such detail.
