I'm angry, but I see why the organization did it. I guess the question is if you think Heyward can take a big step forward. I think he can, and will, but if he is what he is, about a .270 hitter with 15 home runs with all-world defense, then I can see why they did it.
4 years of team control for Shelby Miller vs 1 year of Heyward, who as mentioned is probably getting $100M thrown at him by the Yankees or the Red Sox this time next year.

I just stubbornly believe in Jason, I think he has Hall of Fame upside if his power ever matches his frame.
