Soccer (EPL/CL/MLS etc) DFS Thread - Page 127 - Fantasy Sports -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I have edited all my teams entered so far on mondogoal for tomorrow's contests, but under "Lineups", when clicking on any specific contest entered for a given lineup, the team displayed is not the most recent version of the team, but always the first version (I think). Is it just a display bug that happens to everyone, but the team actually entered will be the updated one? I had never noticed before, I'm getting worried.

Have never seen this issue before tbh. Tweet or email support ASAP to ask. They are pretty good at getting back

Recent history on returning from injuries says aguero will probably not start and will play the last 20-30 mins. Especially when you consider the Xmas fixtures will play a part in them wanting to keep him fit.

Personally I see better attacker options

I've emailed them indeed. But I've contacted them once only, 12 days ago, with a question about whether we can play when on holidays abroad, and they've still not answered.

In an earlier game I had my original dummy team come up in all my contests and I panicked hard! It settled though and updated to the last team I had saved.

Yeah I really doubt you'll be able to play unless you use a vpn or something. Not sure what happens if you've already entered a bunch of contests and then go on holiday, wonder if you can still edit your team.

Heard Dec for DK as well although they were targeting an October launch when they first got the license so who knows.

I entered a bunch of teams on the Wednesday of the second week of the season, as was going on holiday on the Thursday. Decided not to risk trying to log in to edit while I was away, although thinking about it now I guess it might have been fine since I entered the contests while in the UK and that's probably the important part.

Was obviously aware I was giving myself a massive disadvantage but figured was still +EV with the overlay as big as it was likely to be.

I will not hold my breath about Draft Kings in the UK.

With the legal limbo they are in, I am sure they regretting applying for gambling licences here. Hard to make an argument otherwise when you are being to told to cease operation in states like New York.

More interested to see Football Fanager and Matchday fantasy go live with their games. Only one's so far who have not opened up for play here.

Yes, I asked the same question to them on Twitter. But no reply, that will be a shame not being able to edit or enter contests when abroad except the mentioned countries. Hopefully they can give us a definite answer on this.

Fantasybet was blocked for a while in the summer. They told me to use Hola a VPN service and that was fine.

To clarify, they answered my email, you cannot enter contests from outside UK/Canada/US/Brazil, but you can edit entered lineups.

Is FantasyBet good? I had a quick look at their homepage a few weeks ago, but the "£0 paid so far!" and not being able to look at their tournaments without signing up first (?) turned me down. I see the 0 has now moved

Also, why on earth would a site that blocks you tell you to use a VPN?

That seems shady to me, I have worked at gaming companies that confiscate all funds won when playing in an banned country via VPN. I would 100% advocate against this, I think it will bite you on the posterior.

Yep, glitches like always. A shame as it is very off-putting and they do not seem to see it as a high priority to have a smooth functioning platform.

Have a look at the Fan Team site, they used the international break to revamp their site and make it more appealing.

This was for the time in the summer when they were awaiting the licence approval. They had to block for a few weeks that was all. Now all good to play as they are fully licensed.

It is a quality platform, very smooth with no glitches & crashes The closest game play wise to FPL. They also run a Norwegian seasonal league from April which finished in the past few weeks. Winner taking around 8k.

It works out the same as other sites that use the Euro or Dollar (Mondo can be played on $ from here as well and vice versa).

The Euro exchange like the Dollar is favourable when making a deposit at the moment. The winnings less so when exchanged back to pound after a withdrawal.

Fan Team has very good free roll covering Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga so you can build bankroll without making any deposit.

The only downside with the site is player salary pricing is lop-sided and frustrating to get under budget.

Good read here with recent interview from their team. They are ambitious and looking to expand.

About the only site with any liquidity that I can play on from Malta. Hopefully DK open to the rest of Europe too if they open in the UK.

Mondo have said they looking at an Italian licence granted soon. Draft Kings will use a UK launch which still a big if as launch pad for more international expansion.

I am for more players from different countries, more unique players growth, more diverse league offers and bigger prize pools.

Liquidity is a problem for most of the new operators. It will be interesting to see how http://www.fantasynetwork.com does. I believe the idea is to do liquidity sharing so money from different operators gets pooled together so they offer bigger prizes. 24Manager is the brand that is earmarked for a soccer offer.
