yea i like Bauer a lot.

and as for the last pick thing.

Going into draft you had 5 picks. 1st round - 5th round.

then you traded 1st and 2nd for a 1st.

so you have 4 picks 1st 3rd 4th 5th.

so now either you only draft 9, or we give you back a draft pick somewhere

having levarkin's pick makes it a nonissue for you, and normally would become an issue for him now, but it so happens that adding a pick onto levarkin's draft either way will be the last pick of the draft.

edit: were there any other trades involving draft picks last year? lmk and i'll update the ss

This is the part I didn't quite pick up on earlier. Stated that way, I agree that the last pick option would be the way to go.

In the ss earlier, it had looked like my 6th round pick would have gotten bumped to the last round though. That was the part that I didn't get, it seems like we'd be punishing anyone who tries to trade up since they'd lose their draft position in a later round.

The league constitution says that any accepted counter-offer gets treated like a new trade offer, meaning it gets another 48 hour window.

I propose we change that part of the rules so that all counter-offers must take place within the same 48-hour window. If a counter is accepted, it overrules the original offer and becomes official at the end of that window.

In this case, I think we should just make a special exception since the trade involves draft picks. It was made prior to the 1st pick in the draft and could potentially hold up the draft if we wait the usual period.

I vote to approve it now, assuming Levarkin does not have a counter of his own.
