Damn sang moon bae might have to go serve in South Korea military for 3 years...that's giving up some serious equity considering his current success on pga tour and who knows if he keeps his game sharp while in military. Pretty brutal if he can't figure out a way out

Don't they give exemptions to people who are in the spotlight and are providing positive press (for lack of a better term) for their country?

He should just use the same excuse that kept Ty Webb out of Vietnam.

Yeah Shin Soo Choo got out of his service, but he had to win a gold medal in some international competition to get that exemption.

Selling Masters tickets? That deserves a ban and a KITN.

FWIW, if the Masters finds out you've sold tickets you'll be blacklisted at minimum. If you must sell, suggest selling to somebody you know vs. some random.

I would possibly buy them. PM me about it when you get them.

There are rumors that Augusta tracks ebay and the like, but I have never heard a peep from someone who has been blacklisted so I'm pretty skeptical.

The only bad story I've heard is my neighbor got some tickets from someone he worked with. They had to pick them up in the morning a few miles from Augusta. When they got to the gates they were taken aside, handcuffed and told the tickets were no good. They were released about an hour later, went back to where they got the tickets and the person gave them some replacements. The replacements got them through the gate.

If blacklisting is minimum, what's maximum? Burning at the stake? Beheading?

Very good. I've gotten to know one of their lead instructors who lives in my area, so I've had a lot of exposure to their theory. It's all based on biomechanics and how the body is supposed to move. It's very simple and easy to understand, they do a good job of explaining/teaching it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to improve.

Sounds great, thanks!

The site was recommended to me by a "random" who joined our group while we were playing a round while on vacation a few months back, and I suddenly remembered it a few days ago as I was looking for something to practice during the off-season.

I have checked out the free videos they have and it reminded me of Comos approach, which has been discussed quite a bit here (and which makes a lot of sense), but of course I don't trust anything until it's been recommended on the 2+2 golf forum

Will get a subscription and get some work in

Really? If Augusta National finds out?

Why can't he sell his tickets? As long as he doesn't do it within close proximity to Augusta National and doesn't sell them for more than face value in Georgia he can do as he pleases. He can sell them for $10,000 if he lives in a state that allows it (most states do).

Agusta does prohibit the resale of the masters tickets, but that doesn't make it illegal. The only thing they care about is that you aren't sitting outside the property trying to sell tickets.

Perhaps you are not aware of exactly how strict Augusta National runs their ship. They do things their way without exception. If you break their rules you are gone with zero recourse. Period.

I never said selling the tickets was illegal by law, just if caught doing so you'll never set foot on property again whether alive or dead.

And if you think it's easy to get away with, keep in mind the reach of Augusta National is infinitely long. Ignorance is bliss.

Trying to decide if Bo is naive enough to actually think that if you got caught selling Masters tickets and Augusta blacklisted you that you wouldn't be able to scalp a ticket and get in.

You could scalp a ticket and get in but then they would assassinate you with a poisoned pimento cheese sandwich.

Country Club Drama:

So even though I had a kid back in June, I still like to play golf on the weekends and my wife is very supportive because, as I've mentioned here before, she played in college and is still a very good player.

So she and the kid are pretty awesome and often they will come and walk 9 holes with me (even 18 once!) and she'll push him in the stroller. We've probably done it 10 times since he was born.

So on Saturday, wife decides she's going to meet me on #6, which at my club means you walk down no. 1 and turn right before you get to the green. So there are 2 groups on No. 1, long story somewhat shorter, one of the groups on the fairway tells her "she's not supposed to be on the golf course." 5 seconds pass, he says "so are you just not going to listen to me," and then "so you're not going to do what I say?" Then he calls pro shop and assistant pro comes out and condescendingly kicks her off the golf course. The whole vibe as I understood it from her was "hey girl, get off the course".

Totally not cool. I was on 5 green when she called me and told me what was going on and these guys were putting on no. 1 about 80 yards from me and it was not easy to stay peaceful.

Because they have a full staff of private investigators whose sole job is to patrol the internet and identify every ticket seller and then ID everyone that walks thru the gate and make sure they're not on the blacklist... C'mon.

I get that if you're trying to sell the tickets right outside the gate or something you might be braindead and likely could end up in jail or at least not being allowed on property but their reach isn't what you describe. Their main concern is to keep people from sitting outside selling tickets.

Brutal. I would have for sure said something to these pricks. What is so ****ed up in your head that you think my wife shouldn't be allowed to walk along with me as I play? If he's anything but appologetic it might be asswhooping time.
