Yes, what's the connection? Can you chime in with something objective and to the point?

lol at thinking smoking on the course was banned...since when do you get to decide how professionals should act? tobacco and golf go back a long way, comparing smoking on the course to wearing shorts is preposterous

What is this supposed to prove? That in 1960 they didn't yet know about the dangers of smoking? Times have changed, buddy. Get with it. Might as well post some pictures from 1930's Germany. They did it once, it must be ok, right?

Funny, I thought people who play golf and watch Jeopardy! would be a cut above the average moron, but I guess I was wrong...

You idiots just keep repeating yourselves with baseless argument and insults. How about responding to the issue at hand? Try to be objective, if only for a moment...

It's probably scum like you who hit into me when I'm 250 yards out in the fairway in plain sight. Next time someone does that, there's gonna be trouble. No more ignoring it and letting them play through.

Anger Management is -----> that a'way.

I do believe they have banned smoking from those meetings though, so you're in luck.

Ah - we may be closing in on the real issue here... tell me, were they hot female golfers who were having a smoke as they played through?

Getting a great deal on new TM burner / 2.0 driver. Don't have chance to get fit before ordering ( order is being placed Tuesday through my contact). Is there a "standard" degree and flex that I shouldn't have too much trouble using without being fitted etc?

You might want to include...you know...anything about your game for better answers.

Anyone ever go to a golf show where rockbottomgolf had space? Do they bring a lot of inventory with them? I'm thinking about hitting up the Detroit show in a couple weeks and they've got a couple well stocked items I'd like to see irl.

I'll probably go anyway and hit up Carl's Golfland or something if I strike out.

Haha indeed. Sorry for that oversight.

Shoot 85-90. Average distance off the tee is 210-235 (I'm 5'3 and well built). Most often hit a small draw.

Thanks for the help gents.

re: flat versus upright lie angles

it turns out it doesn't matter much. I ran some numbers using the same amount of clubface errors (flat swings have less directional clubface error per given shaft twisting due to geometry. I ignored club path errors which is where upright swings are better).

A 5* upright driver swing at 110mph hits in a 50 yard wide window while a 5* flat swing hits in a 45 yard window. Part of the difference in accuracy is due to the flatter swing being shorter on mis-hits.

Flattening your plane by 10* as if it is the "secret" to golf is misguided. I can get into it more if anyone cares.
