found death harp a while back...this thing is going to be hard to replace. its only 42-109 dmg, but the extra arrow and 100% crit dmg makes lightning arrow go nuts.

...single target...not so much.

It's pretty amazing for its level. Use it with fork or chain, but definitely not gmp.

gave away 4 exalts in currency and about 2 full pages of uniques to random standard players.

I thought it would be fun but it was kind of a pain in the ass. didn't want to give it away to 1 person who might've already been rich, so I spent an hour splitting it up. Apparently most players walk around with no inventory space left to take items...

So just stumbled across a post in the forums linking a lightning coil. I am thinking it would work pretty good for my build, but have no idea what one is worth in nemesis. Anyone know?

On a separate note, running two codt is ridiculous. I knew it would be good but didn't quite realise how good.

Low level codt/EC/devouring/warlords
High level codt/immortal call/molten shell/increased duration

Previously had enfeeble where warlords is but thought I'd try out the synergy with IC. Temp chains also a solid option in that spot. Could replace devouring but quite like it.

Died again. Time to find a tanky build!

Haha EK scion is what I was going to do. The guide seems in depth and I'm trying a different class each time I die. I still know nothing about this game.

im not really a fan of EK, I want to try it with something else. but the mana shield/artic armor looks like the nuts

The build most likely won't work well with another skill as your damage will be too low. EK is just great damage with little to no investment from passive points.

I see videos like this and I'm just so baffled. I couldn't imagine playing a build that "comes into its own" at level 80+.

smh. I don't mean to be a gamer snob and for sure I've wasted more than my fair share of time playing video games, but... ffs. 2800 hours played? Just imagine how much the guy could have accomplished if he was equally dedicated to well, anything else. :P

Edit: Just rolled a Scion for the first time and you start with spectral throw? Is it just me or is that gem kind of bananas compared to what other classes start with?

Spectral Throw is definitely one of the dominant abilities because it allows any melee character to become an AOE-boss, thereby improving safety, without sacrificing anything to do it. Also it clears mobs like immediately.

Also LMP + axe + Life on Hit = gg.

Also click closer to yourself to broaden the projectiles, further away to narrow them. Learn to run away to maximize damage per throw.

Don't worry, I know nothing about the game and have played for about fifty years.

I think we should buy another 10 members sooner than a new tab, we're at cap for some time and I'm not sure if everyone who wants is in the guild

to add to that, you also want to maximize dmg output by hitting enemies at the max throw range. Otherwise, you want to hit as many enemies as possible by leap slamming or using other mobility skills to weave in and out.

ST is very flexible, and as stated its primary strength is that it requires no investment at all from a melee character to be used as a viable ranged area attack.

btw that ek aa build is very good. I always make my own builds (mine either conceptually or just the passive tree) but I had trouble making a strong a mind over matter build since early nemesis, and that build managed to solve all the major problems I had. Which was mostly solved through the use of EK though.

Another small condition I have on my builds is that I don't like to base it (or become dependent in any way) on a skill/item/feature that I think will be nerfed, because I seriously hate having to reroll a character that hasn't died just because a nerf made him useless. Rather common with fotm builds.

Oops, managed to die. Too little life really, and didn't realise that temp chains + ice ground map sucks, not to mention with +97% cold damage on cold monsters is bad news.

I have a 99% quill rain and have never made a bow build before, so I feel obliged to do that. Some kind of exploding arrow build? Cast on crit/split arrow?
