Scummy but I doubt fees will screw anyone over in the end.

How is it scummy? If i understand this right:

dude wants to crush nl50

fees sits at HU tables, doing no direct harm to him (other than maybe .1% less fish for him), trying to one up him

tbh i think that's awesome and totally fine. if he sat at his tables it would be gross and scummy (and should've been in the rules obv)

and there is no way fees' bet should be forfeited bc of this afaik. i could see a judge ruling for say a 10% fine or smth, but anything else would be ridic provided what i stated is what is going on

The bet is for silent one to win ugl w/ interference. Fees is clearly going against the spirit of the bet. Now we find out Fee's hasn't even escrowed and was freerolling.

Fee=biggest dbag in the world

It's not really freerolling if fees has the money and will pay it which I think he will. I don't think he didn't escrow so that he could not pay if he lost, he probably just thought (incorrectly) that because he is well known he wouldnt have to escrow that amount, esp since he is friends with wcgrider.

direct interference (sitting at tables, blocking, ...), agreed. indirect, i don't know. i think it's ok and actually pretty cool tbh

what if fees offered some nl50 grinder on another site (so no sitting at same tables) a 10% freeroll on his bet that he gets when he ends up #1 on the leader board? scummy? :/

yall gotta try this ****-

one of my buddies and i have been messing around with diff chat trying to get the fish to stay after they get up. i mean obv its not like golden or anything but we found something that works a good bit with certain ego fish. prolly not gona work on the 30bb fish that double and insta leave.

but if you get the feeling theyre about to leave you tell them-

"this is my table.
hahahaha you will never get it from me!
i will go broke defending my table!"

i had this fcker the other day play me and get up a bi and then shortly after he took auto post off and started timing down before posting the blinds. so immediately used my tactic and sure enough that bugger put auto post back on and went broke in 30 hands.

i feel like theyre just thinking "yeah right **** this guy im going to get his table," and just stay to spite you.

Okay cool.

I was looking to get 1920x1080 so my tables, lobby etc won't be massively overlapped/tiny.

On Newegg there is only one i5 model and a few i7 models with 1920x1080.

If you only have one monitor, what is a reasonable resolution for active tables, lobby on the side, open tables?

1920x1080
1680x1050
1680x945
1600x900
1440x900

1. Cannot play or induce others to sit and play against Silent_0ne UNLESS they are already a $100nl regular. Violations will result in the violator's action being forfeited and may result in additional modification/extention to neutralize the interference.

This was the number 1 stipulation in the bet and carried over to when he made the nl50 bet. Therefore Fees could not bet and then sit at his tables nor could he try to pay to induce others to sit at his tables.

This is actually a pretty good idea, although I would guess there are more effective ways to manipulate them into staying longer. You gotta be careful though because being a dbag in chat is -EV since it pretty much guarantee's that they will leave as soon as they are up (I'm not saying this specific tactic is being a dbag).

Sometimes I think it's better to keep auto reload less then 100bb because it gives the fish a goal instead of running.

Silent_0ne was not playing any heads up for this prop bet.

fees was only playing heads up. They never played at the same table.

Have you looked at gotapex.com and techbargains.com?

idk if yall have seen but WCGrider said sorta recently that he did not receive fees escrow of 25k for the bet. and on top of that after it become known he still hasnt escrowed the 25k. fees looks SUPER shady. I mean say what u want about the rules and then him playing hu, its w/e imo, but the fact that he didnt use jalex as the escrow like everyone else did, told silent_one to escrow to WCG (WCG didnt even agree to this) and then he didnt send the 25k seems really shady. oh and silent_one and fees apparently agreed that the winner is based on the same rules/judgement that jalex decides. i believe i have this correct, but please tell me if something isnt right.

Everybody is upset because it's not in the "spirit of the bet" that a 10/20 UGL player would drop down to 50NL to get UGL there.

Quote:
2. Actions must be in accordance with the intent of having a fair prop bet. No actions (chip dumping, collusion, ghosting/coaching players on Silent_0ne's tables, etc) can be taken with the intent to affect the outcome of the prop bet. Violations will result in the violator's action being forfeited and may result in additional modification/extention to neutralize the interference.
It's kinda tilting how many people in the big thread were quoting that rule and bolding etc as if the rule was somehow intended to include what fees did. Personally I agreed with the WCGRider post I saw that said there's nothing really in the rules against it so tough luck, but I seem to be in the minority.

Not to say it isn't a dick move on fees part, but you have to cover your bases when you make the rules...
