Has anyone ever filtered HEM/PT3 to show winnings when making a turn or river call? I am a fairly decent winning player but I seem to be leaking a huge amount of money in these spots. Reckon this is a leak or am I misinterpreting it?

Did it earlier when i was pretty sure a fish had air. It's more annoying when your like ok i can use exploitable betsizing vs a fish, he has A high at best, small bets will get him off. gets down to 2 seconds and your like i know its coming. gg

Yup. As soon as you see it counting down from 10 seconds its like, well we know its coming.

yup, but there's now discussion as to whether he should forfeight his share of the bet ($25k) for angle shooting. Really is quite an interesting read.

I think he should forfeit his 25k imo considering the the rules although slightly subjective are pretty obvious, especially to a well known 2+2er like himself. But i wouldn't actually want to have to make the decision myself.

There was some talk a couple weeks ago about river call and we said it's prob way negative because it counts not only the turn call but the money put in on previous streets too.

i5 2.5ghz vs an i7 1.7ghz

Any techies in here?

I'm looking to buy a poker laptop.

Dell offers an upgrade from i5 2.5ghz to an i7 1.7ghz for an extra $175.

Will the i7 be faster even though it is rated at lower ghz?

Do I even need an i7 if all I'm going to do is run Holdem Manager?

I was thinking about either getting the i7 or saving the money and putting in a SSD HD for my os/programs.

Anyone have cliffs on that prop? What was Fees' involvement in that prop?

From my understanding reading the last 6 or so pages:

-silent_one bet that he would win 100nl UGL for December, he got 8-1 or something.

-silent_one lost 30BI at 100nl in a day or two and then made a new bet that he would win 50NL UGL in December at 10-1

-fees bet 25k vs. 2.5k against silent_one

-fees played 50nl HU and was 4th on the leaderboard, while there is no specific rule against it. (only vague spirit of the bet rules)

I just think it's funny how everybody says fees is a huge scumbag etc. etc, but then there were people who bet against him table blocking him at HU tables (a way more blatant breach of the rules) before the judge made any sort of ruling. Pretty hypocritical.

I kind of think the same but I couldnt actually accurately articulate why this would be the case. I mean when we call, it should show a profit in the long run taking into account pot odds etc. At the same time if we were to fold on the river PT3 would show us losing a huge amount of money when we know our EV is actually 0, so maybe calling is better if we lose less money doing it? Really struggling to describe this well, cant really get my head around it.

Yah just read through it. What an angleshooter.

Seems like a pretty bad angle shoot. The thought actually crossed my mind to do the same thing but it ended there. Seemed way too scummy. And I probably would have made sure it was allowed before I escrowed.

haha

So this fish won 2 BI off of me with pretty standard stuff and then sat out and said gg

I was kinda tilted so I say: yea better quit before you lose it all back

He sits back in and proceeds to lose his 3BI stack back to me.

VICTORYYYY

go w/ the i5 for sure. i'm assuming that the i7 is a quad core and the i5 is a dual core if the i7 is actually more expensive, but the clock speed difference is more important. there aren't many applications that use all four cores so the clock speed (2.5ghz vs 1.7ghz) is more important in almost all cases.
