Zac Fails is definitely one of the harder puzzles.

I first look at the racks to see what could be possible. If I don't see an obvious way to score as high as or higher than the current goal then I work out the bonus and chains, and try to match that. Trying to score that usually gives me a feel for how the game plays, and then I can try to score higher. It's definitely the best way to play. Good play comes from the humility of knowing that you can't do everything yourself and sometimes need to take ideas from others imo. For example I imagine you thought you had a fairly good score on too many 2s until I beat it and you realised it was possible to go higher. On my old highscore on that I had such an easy adaptation to score 39060, can't believe I didn't see it! Your spotting that the bonus could go higher is nuts though, took me ages to find it (about 1.5 hours)!

Too many 2s is by far the hardest puzzle I've completed.

I knew it wasn't the best possible score, but hadn't had time/motivation to look at how it could be better, since trying to beat your own score isn't as fun. When I see someone has beaten my score, then I'll go through my last high score, and try to see what I can improve, twice (8 & 11) I've had to start over completely, since it wasn't possible to score more with the setups I used, but needed to see someone beat my scores to have motivation to figure out how to score higher.

The way I played the 38850 I didn't even have this possibility, but I made the same mistake in another puzzle, those are surprisingly difficult to see!

After getting that 38850, I was thinking that surely there had to be a way to get more bonus somehow, but didn't know how. I tried for like 45 minutes, but then gave up. But I have a pretty good memory, and since I was really annoyed I couldn't figure it out, the thought stayed on the back of my mind, and later I somehow subconsciously realised the solution when I wasn't even playing TC!

I think it is awesome that this game that annoyed me more with every new 2 that appeared turned out to be an interesting challenge for you

Only 2 points from Dynasty *DRUMROLL* and strenghted by third place in DC wins. I don´t think I will ever make it to second place in wins, even though my ratio is better than Alex´s - TH10 will get to me before I jump over Alex (if ever).

Was already an effort max out the bonus and get those 5s and 6s, but now I´m stuck with MFing 3s.
btw I haven´t verified if I can actually make this board with the 9 racks, I´m just puzzling in free mode to make the setup.

I wonder if there might be some DC rating deflation going on. Not that I have a sound basis for this or anything.

I think there's been a rejig of sorts, but in talking leas about my rating than my inability to string two dice together (except for 1s obv)

What? Gaby's setup is nothing like mine was... and now TH has improved the score. Cheers Gaby Will prob have to wait it out until after the weekend to play this again, it's gonna bug me until then.

That is an annoying puzzle, whoever made that should... or maybe not

But really, I knew it was possible to score more in that, but it was very difficult to find a way to do that. It could be possible to score even more, but not sure about that.

I actually think all my three proper puzzles are pretty challenging, don't know if anyone has even tried the latest one, only seeing my name in the scores. The 60k one is easy, but I made that just to be able to get 60k in normal mode, even if it wasn't a real game.

I see you upped the bonus to 20. Probably a zone with 4 corner 1s behind the wall of 6s. Gonna try and figure that out.
