Thanks. wanted a reality check in the thought process and make sure it was at least in the realm of sanity
I thought about betting flop but the flop seemed better for their ranges and I didn't like the prospect of betting blindly into two guys behind me. Is this not a reasonable thought?
I was sitting next to a guy who had massive head phones on, had two iPhones in front of him, an iPad and a portable phone battery thing and for the duration of the time I was sitting next to him he was far too busy playing games on either iPhone or iPad, like Candy Crush and the like to pay attention to the game. Dealer had to remind him every single time it was on him or when he needed to post a blind.
There was a really angry guy playing this morning. He threw his cards and hit a dealer. The dealer didn't do anything. Then he did it again with a different dealer. Nailed him in the chest. Then the guy got up real fast and knocked his chair over. The dealer was about to call someone but the guy left.
I dont know if its me live pokah durping or not. Someone bet 600. Few callers. I throw in two 1000 chips. The dealer takes that as a call of 600 and throws bck 1400 my way.. Wtf? Do I have to literally announce every number?
as far as i know there is a "one chip rule". if you throw out one chip, it's a call. your two chip raise should be fine.
i usually announce my raises loudly. it saves time, especially because it takes me a long time to get the chips together. that way people can act while i'm still fumbling with my chips.
i had something similar happen. donkament (so you know it was a long time ago). guy bets 300? i toss in a 1000 & 25 chips to indicate raise. somehow, they arrive at the ruling that it was only a call.
I had top set on 9h6h2s. Obviously wanted the c/r. When he returned my chips my first reaction was I dont want to make a fuss about it for the fear of giving away the strength of my hand, and that once it was ruled a call I wouldn't be able to change it so my clarification looked like a no upside play. Should I have said something anyway?
Ofc the turn completed flush and straight so it turned out to be a real adventure
Thereis a husband and wife playing at my table. He just stacked her for about 100. Then he pulls a hundred out of his pocket and gives it to her so she can buy in again.

god i finished 415th in the sunday storm im so tilted, lost a flip to have a ton of chips, thought i had a decent chance to run deep in an online tournament for the first time of my life.
won $114 which is great for my online bankroll but i just feel sick.
There was this really young looking kid playing and he was sitting next to this "shakes fist at clouds" old man. The kid busted out and got up to leave and the old man says "go do your homework".
