I mean, I guess my brain works differently, when I see onion I try to make a connection with onion. When I see food I think of food lol. If literally banana, venison, ice cream, cookie, steak, escargot, cereal, etc etc are all just that > food then no I do not think that way.

Yeah this is why I didn't spew first even though the first one to spew clears himself and no one else can clear themselves after that, unless the word is gettable from the clues alone.

Thats why if the clues make it obvious then obviously the game is lol. If the clues dont make it obvious then if a villager is going to be mislynched (more likely when the clues are not obvious), they are incentivized to spew to save themselves, but then every spew after that is suspect since people could just know the word from the original spew. I assume thats why D1 doesnt spew even when hes villa and about to get mislynched, its probably overall GTO unless there is only 1 person who could be the chameleon.

And you said if you understand all the clues the word is gettable already so even the first person to spew is suspect in that case. Which means the clues were too narrow and the person who gave the broadest clue is the lynch. Which means broad clues are bad if others give narrow clues lol. The whole game is a GTO nightmare.

Like the last Abigale game D1 gave a quite decent clue and we all gave a clue that hit 1 word so he was lynched lol.

Should we at least investigate to see if Dr Z knows the word before lynching me? He is new so he may not know it if hes actually chameleon. I feel like it cant hurt, you know that born and I know it and I know that you know it and I'm currently voting you so if Dr Z cant say it we can just vote for him and if he can then nothing is lost.

That seems optimal. Assuming no one is voting XB then:

If DR Z knows the word we just roll with the status quo (ill vote you, you'll vote me, presumably xander and born and dr z will vote me unless they heroball it lol), if he doesn't then we vote him. So its a free roll. Dr Z you can even just say the word if you want. born/nich/me all know it 100 % so it wont change anything.

Or you can spew it however you want.

I dont think we can ever vote born over me. I thought our clues were equal but the 2nd connection and him spewing it first mean I am always a better vote. Plus I read him super villagery.

I do quite enjoy the contrasting styles of how we all play the game. If you think of it as 3 categories, clues+spew+tone

D1= tone+clues and not spew
Nich=clues+spew and not tone
I=Tone+spew but not clues

Since I promised I would try to be clue based so I don't annoy everyone I am gonna be significantly worse now lol. Before this game I had never been voted for by a villager and was pretty good at picking off chameleons, but you see now I actually never really read into the clues lol. I mean, I was MOD last game so I knew the word, and I am a sports fan, and I didnt understand how farm connected to Chicago haha.

To the 2 people who havent played with me before, normally by this point you would have been treated to a couple of hundred posts of logic on why it cant be me and you shouldnt vote for me, and I would have accused everyone else of being chameleon like 10 times :P If Dr Z clears himself I'm just gonna vote Nich and accept my fate and chalk it up to a learning experience that I need to research more. Still feels weird/wrong to not try but at some point it is oppressing and annoying.

Born had to spew a bit because his clue was too easy to be mistaken as Chameleon.

FMK though- you've had Born spew, then Nich spew, to try and get people to reveal the clue. If your wolf then you know:
- villa have cleared XB
- villa have cleared me
- born has spewed as much as he will (and cleared himself)
- villa has cleared Nich (although....did Nich clear himself? XB appreciate your thoughts!)

So if your Chameleon just getting everyone doubting each other makes sense when I cant see you providing a good link to your clue, or, highlighting what you know.

I'm already cleared, and the only people asking to me to clear are the Chameleonest (you), and Nich (who your accusing, and who has cleared himself...?) So the two wolfiest are getting everyone to spew.

I know now Abigail is some witch thing and also the name of an actress but I don't see that as clearing.

I know that reaper means Grimm but that's too vague to be clearing.

I know that an onion is a food but I don't see something as simple as that as clearing (don't explain it further)

What does that leave me with? No clue on anyone...

Z if it will change your mind I will just say the word once you show that you know what the word is. I could know the word just from borns post so it probably shouldn’t change your mind but if you are still possibly going to not vote for me I will do that for you, but I can’t do that since you’re the only one who has not shown you know the word for sure.

Can you please just explain if the onion read nich had is right? Or born can you explain it? Because born said onion would be basically impossibly lucky, more lucky than abigale, and nich said it was just a generic food so I was expecting something stronger than that. Even nich agreed you should clear yourself, and that obv born and I (and he) know the word already.

Like I said once one person spews the word hard then people knowing the word doesnt really mean much because they can figure it out and then spew it but since its your 2nd game I just want to confirm you know the word since maybe you missed the spew if its you. Spewing the word to nich/born/me does not matter now since we all have shown 100 % knowledge of the word so we just have to try to figure out who is the chameleon. Also XB and born confirmed that you can spew the word cuz we all know.

DZ is new and was reading the thread during my last round of posting BTW and just left. He said he would spew/clear himself if you and born said he should, and you both said he should/could.

I am voting DZ if he does not indicate he knows the word. He should know it as chameleon but its only his 2nd game so it's possible he didn't pick up on it even though lolus.

FWIW Chameleon me never just snap clears born for spewing the word there because everyone was saying onion was a bink so who else were people going to vote for? I used this logic to clear D1 in the last abigail game because it was....absolutely 100 % true.
