Yeah, maybe this was lolme on not thinking about clues enough but my clue was steve jobs so... lol.

Z said 88 referred to a popular film from the 80s and not a year, and XB basically said he had no idea what that meant, and was spewing square peg into a round hole which I didnt get. Also he thought sorkin had several connections so I thought maybe there was some sorkin thing I didn't know (I watched west wing and newsroom and social network).

I was D1 all day from the clues until the posting, as you know since I snap voted for D1 lol. In re-reading, its kinda clear XB thought Z said it was related to a year as opposed to unrelated to a year. I shoulda just said XB what is the word (because if it was D1 he knew it obv, and if it was XB and he didnt get delorian he wouldnt know it). This loses only to XB saying he didnt get 88 but then getting it when I ask that. I was too focused on XB cant know its car if he doesnt understand Z saying 88 is a movie from the 80s or whatever and noot a year lol. This game is hard, super tilting to let D1 escape without him even posting though haha.

I agree that nich's clue seems good. Dr Zeus saying it first makes me think it's not them either.

strings was used in the last game for this category by born, it was decided that it hit 8-10 but he did some subtle spew of the word. Think we didn't vote for him.

So you understand nich's reference? What confidence level do you have in that? Will wait to see if others understand yours or borns or mine I guess.

lol, sorry if I was harsh, what you did was very standard for a newer player. Nich and I still spew too often to clear ourselves so whatever haha. Later in the game it sometimes becomes necessary.

What is your confidence level on Nich? I agree that if Nich's is good then Dr Z should be good. You could make this post as chameleon to latch on to the the Z read though and clear yourself. Or you could just understand nich's clue in which case it would be D1 from my point of view (and D1 or me from your point of view).

I actually don't think it can be Z now because he said only 1 person is good, and it is who you said is good, so if he is chameleon you are villa and also understand nich's clue only so that would be incredibly lucky.

So logically at this point Z = clear. Only way he is chameleon is if he said, before anyone posted anything basically, that he clears nich and that is the only person that born clears (and born is villa if Z is chameleon), so that would be less likely than Abigale.

Also Nich should be good if your confidence interval is high because you both only understand his clue, unless he binked in some way I dont understand.

So Z = clear, nich = 2nd most clear. So we are down to born, D1, and me

This logic only works if 2 villas don't clear someone randomly though. Names on a music category could hit everything. I will trust you guys if you both say you have a high degree of confidence but last time 2 people cleared someone it was onion for hansel and gretel and they were wrong.

So basically I only clear Dr Z from logic.

I agree with you assessment of Z = clearest, nich 2nd. I won't say how confident I am exactly but it is a lot more confident than in yours or D1's.

Did you figure out borns clue after you posted that you liked nich, or do you just like his posting? Because his posting could def be chameleon (not saying it is).

In an ideal world nich will come on and understand my clue at this point if you actually get borns from his clue.

Yeah I was just curious because you initially only said nich, now you added born. Of course it can naturally happen that you don’t get a clue at first and then later get it, I just wanted to make sure that was actually what happened though because I was kinda thinking born might be wolfy (but I always find him to be wolfy).

melancholic seems like a possible chameleony clue and so does Edward but I understand that there are usually specific references. Especially Nich and born often have specific references or secondary meanings.

If nich clears born then I think we can comfortably say it’s d1 or me. I am hoping nich gets mine and then I will be d1 or born (probably d1 depending on nich’s thoughts on born).

Btw I think you are seeing how we can play the early game and kinda clear some people while giving no spew, often there is logic involved just by who understands who’s clues and you don’t even have to say anything about your clue or how you get the other clues etc. this works as long as villas don’t clear too easily (lol onion).

They're cool. I've put them up on my whiteboard lolz. Can confidently clear them following my mapping. This was a bad idea given how much work I've got to do today.

Yeah I think I'm gunna end up relying on you all for the behavorial clues for a while and stick to the connection mapping which is really fun.

If you have it down to d1 or me this game then you should not trust me on the behavioral clues lol. But yeah if I’m cleared early in future games you can try to lean on me for that, just like I lean on other clear villagers for references and lean on d1 for reading nich etc lol.

But ofc don’t lean too hard because everyone not named d1 can just be a wrong villa especially when it comes to tone haha. That’s why I always give a confidence interval on my clearing, and if it’s tone it’s never 100 percent obviously
