after Thingy's posts on most of page 2 I'm very convinced he's a villager and we should not lynch him any time soon

i think i have a unique perspective on reddboiler's lists post because i've seen him do it befoer and i think i was there for the origin when he thought it was a good idea. let me see if i can elaborate and hopefully you and others (particularly donk who was reading into it) can help me figure it out.

i think it first started in a game i was in with redd and SIU. SIU posted his notes that looked similar about 3/4 of the way through d1 and was all but insta cleared for it.

the next game i play with reddboiler he posts his notes just like that. i call him out for it saying he saw someone get cleared for it so he could easily be doing the same thing for credit. he was villaging.

lotr i dont recall him doing that and he was a wolf, but it was a mishmash so w/e

this game he does it again. but since it was so early and so inclusive (like every post is there somewhere)... it just feels insincere and way forced.

so im leaning towards reddboiler = w for that post

having said that, his tunneling timistere with some thin multiquotes is his typical villager tell

i think i'm here as well. haven't read a past game but the progression of freakout to controlled seems reasonable.

but dont agree with his method of "wolfhunting" tappo.

this is like the second time you've done something like this this game

first it was "gonna test out mets here" then you vote for his partner

now it's like herbie hasn't even been in the thread, it's been 100% thingy, yet you're voting for thingy's partner

I mean, objectively, tappo is right in everything he said in going back and forth with thingy (and I'm not just saying that to back up my mason, but it helps to know he's not lying about it), and I think Thingyman was pretty much on the wrong end of it, but I think he had a very villagery urgentness to the whole thing, if that makes sense.

(And I don't even know for sure if we're talking about the same stuff, but I think we are)

those are things that i would point to as villager points in his favor, and also the way he engaged well named with the "you would read me better if you were a villager"

i would like it more if he hadn't backed down by saying his posting thus far hadn't been villagery but i agree that post where he was like "i'm spewed villager" was really villagery

my meta read on him is this:

out of touch with the thread with positive/happy tone - villager
out of touch with the thread with negative/bitter tone - wolf

so far it's closer to the latter

yeah, neither do I, even if Thingy were mod-peeked villa his posts wouldn't make me any more likely to vote tappokoan

especially since tappo has always come off as insincere-fake-villagery to me. every single game. so a read based on tappo being insincere-fake-villagery doesn't really resonate as a good read on tappo.

and I'm pretty sure I've never actually played a game where tappo is a wolf, at least not that I remember, WWDB may differ though

Its probably a good thing that I know timi is a villager cause that dudes posting his hella wolfy from my perspective.

all my experiences with tappo he makes a lot of sense and explains himself extremely clearly and he has been a villager every time

I kind of want to call fank009 a wolf through post #40 because his short one-liners/strategy talk seems so commentary.

tappo/wetzel doing the whole location masons thing I thought was kind of villagery (regardless of their posting). I want everyone to know Timi is a villager when I clear us like no other so its probably a good idea IMO.

like i said, having wagons is what allows the game to be solved later.
