Easy degree. Even easier to get than an arts degree.
In Denmark it takes 3 years at the gymnasium + 5/6 years at uni afterwards. It was ofc easy for Sammy because he's so smart, but an average Australian could never do it.

Sammy's a Master of Science, he would prefer if you called him that, or just Master, from now on.

3 years at a gym?

wtf?

Are Denmarkians so weak they need 3 years of work at a gym to be strong enough to complete a Engineering degree?

Norway but it's only for a few days. Unfortunately it looks like I have to go to Germany again. After that I have a month vacation because of the wedding.
04-24-2018 , 06:48 AM
a month off? sick life, most people take like 10 days off max in New Zealand for weddings + honeymoon.
04-24-2018 , 06:49 AM
I'm confused it takes 5-6 years to do a civil engineering degree? Or 8 or 9 years total?
04-24-2018 , 06:56 AM

franks seacoast neighbour grilling fish, we drink his wine. Frank’s neighbour> Sammies neighbour.
04-24-2018 , 06:57 AM
damn that looks good. I will drink a glass of my own urine in honour of the occasion.

The engineering part takes 5-6 years at uni, but you can't get accepted to uni without having completed 3 years at a gymnasium first.

Ahh, so gymnasium is just high-school, but they call it something special in Denmark for some reason.

I'm not sure, our education system is a bit different than others. First you complete 10-11 years of what we call "folkeskole" which is mandatory, you can then choose a variety of things after that depending on your goals. Some choose to start working then and not get any further education. If you want to go to university you do 3 years of gymnasium or another 3-year programme depending on what you're going to study at uni.

Sounds the same as Australia. 12 years of school, but you are free to leave after 10 years.

Then, if you stick around for 12 years (and you qualify) you can go to uni.

I'm so weak, I spent 9 years at the Gym and 9 at Unis to collect pointless degrees that led me to pointless jobs where you have to work all the time and no time to spend all the money you make. Ah yes, f u Tuesday. Obv somewhere along the line Obama is to blame for all this misery
