Curry looked like the same player when he dropped 17 on the blazers in OT. Hard to look good when RWB is crapping on you all game.

I can get behind cheering for this OKC team though. RWB/Durant/Adams are all cool with me. Go Thunder.

yeah Green isn't being put into spots to shred a bigger lineup and if that is the case then you are just giving up a lot on the boards and interior D.

OKC with Russ/KD is probably the one team that the death lineups rim protection is just not good enough for. As well as the issues with offensive rebounding.

It is cliche but styles make fights.

Vertical quoting a source saying Curry is at 70%. Even Kyle Lowry's elbow is giggling at that one.

Amazing Kerr puts him on Westbrook at 70%. The guy isn't 100% but he is hardly the only one out there you could say that about, when he was cooking vs Portland and in game 2 nobody seemed to think he was gimpy.

Only solace I can take after these two games is that I'm not sure that Westbrook can play better and I'm not sure Draymond can play worse. How much that is what the other team is doing to affect them and how much is their games being at their respective extremes in those two games I'm not really sure.

I think people are still overstating GSW's doneness but it's a tough climb.

The only injury Curry has is to his brain. He's ****ed in the head.

He looked pretty injured last year when he couldn't beat Dellavedova for a couple of games. Sometimes good players play like ****, Kerr clearly thinks he's 100%, that's good enough for me

Nobody is 100% at this point in the season. It's ******ed to call the Warriors frauds when they won the title last year. They're just getting beaten by a team playing better than them. The Steph injury excuses are pathetic.

Steph is clearly hurting. I have personally been able to diagnose him with a bruised ego, broken spirit, and a severe case of shookness.

Yup

Even if we could somehow prove that the woyas were slightly more injured/tired/whatever, these games aren't even close. OKC is completely dismantling them.

Actually his "injury" can be overstated because we have no evidence that he is injured. Kerr has him out there guarding Westbrook for 35 minutes or whatever it was. You think that happens if he's injured?

Was he also injured the first few games of the finals last year? Or maybe the defensive intensity in the playoffs makes it harder for him to get open and that leads to frustration which leads to poor play.

Despite taking the regular season wins record from the 1995-96 Bulls, looks like the Bulls would chew GS up in a playoff series.

How are the thunder only -250 to win the series? That makes no sense. I mean the Cavs are -1000

Yeah that's absurd and basically implies that GS would be favored in game 6 which they surely shouldn't be

Bron bron has demonstrated multiple times that a GOAT WIM'ing is not enough to finish something.

We got "spoiled" in the '90s into the 00s by all the narratives lining up correctly. Jordan wins 3 and 3 (we handwave away '95), Lakers win 3 in a row, Ewing doesn't rang. All of this could easily have changed with a called offensive foul, non-corrupt officiating, Charles Smith getting one up past Pippen, Starks going 5 for 18 instead of 2 for 18, Olujawon fingertips, bounces here and there.

LeBron or Duncan's career are more the natural way of things. Their teams are big favorites in many/most years, but it's just not easy to win 4 straight rounds. It's insane that teams won 12 straight (one of them twice).

Happening to Curry this year. We see these teams (was said many times of LBJ - "no way he doesn't finish it") as unbeatable and capable of carrying a championship alone as long as they want it, but in fact it's not that easy.

You mean Curry and Dray's vaginas got injured or what? A big LOL at the backtracking and excuse making from the Warriors "fans".

ESPN narrative the last 13 months plus insanely dumb public bettors (a good chunk of SE being completely delusional about the Warriors should show you how strong this mentality is) adds up to the line being heavily shaded towards GS because they know they will get tons of money bet on them at +odds. (Disclaimer: Had thunder to win series vs spurs at +674 and thunder to win this series as well in msnl)
