They can do that. Sherman is a pure Left Cornerback, so Denver could just line up one receiver to his side if they wanted (right side of the offense). The rub is that Seattle has multiple amazingly talented players at every level of their defense aside from Sherman (Clemons/Bryant/Avril on the line, Irvin/Wagner LBs, and Thomas/Chancellor at safety). When you have a defense with that much talent across it, it's always going to be pretty great.

Not totally true. He was covering a variety of guys last game. My impression is that that wasn't just because of SF's alignment.

Here's a link to the story I mentioned upthread:

Quote:
What will happen once the sharps do get involved? LVH’s Jay Kornegay told me he expects heavy Seattle action from the wiseguys eventually — and he predicts the spread will drop by game time to pick’em. So, the lines have been drawn: The public is supporting Peyton Manning (75 percent of the bets made so far have backed Denver, according to the bet-tracking tool at Pregame.com), while the wiseguys wait for an opportune time to grab the biggest number on the lesser-known underdog.

Through the playoffs, Byron Maxwell is allowing a QB rating under 25 on passes thrown his way, making Drew Brees and Kaep look like Sanchez.

Sounds good, I'm sending SirRawrsALot my square money for his pool so I will include the $100 for this as well. He can confirm here once it is received.

like chim and a few others have suggested, there's probably going to be heavy sharp action on Seattle near kickoff
what exactly does this mean? explain it to me like i'm a 6 year old. if the sharps wait to pound on Seattle, why are they waiting? once they start pounding Seattle the line will move lower right? the line is +2 or +3 now. do they think it will get to something like +4 and then they'll pounce?

It almost certainly won't go to +3.5 or +4, but the juice might shift a little more in Seattle's favor.

Guess you've been out of the country or living under a rock for the last week?

He got a 3.9 there btw.

That was a joke, he has slipped it in every interview ffs.

I think what he said after the NFCCG was awesome, but all this backtracking and trying to get people to like him is annoying... now even Russell is trying to apologizing for him... oh and he mentioned his college background in case you didn't already know!

Ya his SAT scores don't show that, but the 4.2 GPA, degree from Stanford, and the start of a masters degree...all when you came from Compton. For all intents and purposes, he might as well be a genius. He had so much working against him.

Compton isn't the city that people think it is. Certain parts are bad, but there are worse places to grow up in Socal imo.

about 1 kid out of 2 fails out of his highschool. That's gotta be near the top 9 (aka the bottom) for the country I'd think?

Spoiler:
wow not to politard it up, but this surprised me http://cnsnews.com/news/article/dc-t...uation-rate-us

Yeah don't want to politard it up, but grad rates are lower in quite a few pockets of major cities (Cleveland/Chicago/Detroit/Baltimore come to mind). Its not the grad rates, but the quality of schooling as a whole. Dominguez in general is pretty good but does have a low grad rate, I'm sure there are other schools across the country that are similar.
