I'm down to go up to 5 way WTA, but don't really want to do a 50 person pool or anything bc I know I will have no rooting interests bc the second drive of the game.

Taken from THIS BLOG, which has a little too much homerism for my liking, but I did find this interesting:

Quote:

The Broncos tied with New England for third place in the NFL in seconds per play, after being 13th in 2012. I was not surprised to see the Eagles first, but I was pretty interested to see Buffalo second, particularly with the inexperienced QBs they used all year.

Seattle is 29th in the NFL in this measurement of tempo. They obviously like to play slow and shorten the game. What about their opponents, though? Well, disappointingly, this is what I found:
2013 Opponent 2013 Tempo Rank
Jacksonville Jaguars 6
Minnesota Vikings 7
Houston Texans 12
Indianapolis Colts 13
Tennessee Titans 14
New York Giants 18
Atlanta Falcons 19
Arizona Cardinals 20
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23
St. Louis Rams 25
New Orleans Saints 27
San Francisco 49ers 31
Carolina Panthers 32

You see that? The only top-12 tempo teams that the Seahawks played were weak sisters Jacksonville, Minnesota, and Houston. I know that none of those teams is a no-huddle team, and that each almost certainly has some inflation in this metric from the fact that they were playing from behind all the time.
Cliffs - Seahawks have gone up against very few up-tempo teams, and almost no experience this year against the no huddle. My guess is Seattle will likely play out of their Nascar (4DE) package almost exclusively because their big package will struggle to rush the passer and it will be very difficult to get them off the field if Denver hurries up.

I've read that Seattle's Nascar package has struggled against the run, but is there any stats to back this up or refute?

When you're on vacation, you're not doing a job and earning money in the state you're visiting.

I'm in for a $100 WTA and will send funds for escrow if necessary since I have very little history here.

The Colts had played what surely must have been one of the slowest slates of tempos in the NFL up to that point (9ers, Seahawks, Chargers, and Raiders all some of the slowest tempo teams), and they managed to pull the upset. Also, it's not like the Seahawks have never faced a hurry up offense. They were usually in the lead, so opposing offenses were usually going quickly.

Meh, Thomas's whole family is in jail. Sherman is going to make him wish he was there with them.

if NLS is fine with this instead of HU then its him, you, me, and the rando with space for one more. I am comfortable with no escrow for you and NLS, but would want the other guy to escrow.

You guys are regs so I'm fine with being the only one to ship beforehand and I figured sending to you would be easiest since I'm sending you $50 for the squares anyway.

The article states that Peyton will pay taxes on a week's worth of salary. That amount of tax is greater than the bonus Peyton gets for losing the Super Bowl. But he's still getting his salary, so he doesn't "lose" money.
