They were 7th going into the first matchup, 11th going into the second one. Ended up 9th. So...I dunno, context doesn't change much on that one.

pretty sure this is correct. Denver single-handily knocked the Chiefs out of contention for best defense in the league. Crushed their emotional spirit too and made them fall of a cliff the rest of the year. Justin Houston getting hurt prob didnt help either. or that they played third stringers most of the season

EDIT:WRONG AGAIN VINCENT

injuries and the fact that KC wasn't playing a host of back up level QBs killed their defense pay attention and look at the games relative who was starting how were they playing who were they playing, and who was hurt.

Seattle GOAT defense of all time is a little LOL, but it's my opinion that the Seattle defense (with the new rules and the way there calling games) has done a good enough job to be in the best defense since Baltimore and TB argument, but so was SF

After Barkley and Rodman and McEnroe and Sanders, this didn't really register for me.

I know Barkley rodman and sanders were unpredictable but I can't remember any interviews of theirs where they specifically went after an individual in the postgame the way Sherman did. Maybe you're right and I just can't remember, but the Sherman interview is like nothing I've ever seen before.

Tennis is much different for a couple of reasons. First, It is a head to head sport so you would expect there to be targeted post game comments. Second, so few people watch it compared to other sports that nobody cares what these guys say.

Just to be clear, I think the Sherman interview was awesome and that he did nothing wrong. I just thought it was strange that arc couldn't comprehend why people are making a big deal about it. An extremely rare event occurred following one of the most watched sporting events of the year.

as long as they're calling OPI on Denver, then it's cool. And since that's not happening, the 'cheating' bull**** just looks silly.

I'm glad the narrative is that Denver is going to win easily. Seattle's going to unleash holy hell. They've played more tough games against much tougher teams. You beat finesse with power... I can't wait.

Also, if they move the game, it will be the lamest thing most of us will ever see.

your right. I have been posting long enough and this shouldn't be happening.

plus sometimes I need to learn how to take a second get all my thoughts straight double check my #'s and facts and make a clear and quality post.

I will certainly work on all of these things and take your constructive criticism, and thank you for pointing it out to me.

I know I am a bit of a newbie schmuck, but I am a lover of sports and have serious interest in improving my post and being a quality member of this forum

I would be shocked if they let Seattle play overly physical on defense.

I would be even more shocked if the officials even catch one OPI or pick play in the game. The truth is, so much is going on the field so fast that OPI is about the last thing officials are looking for. I am shocked when it gets called, and when it does its usually only one time in a game.

Can someone here please explain to me the difference between a pick play and a rub route? It sounds to me like different names for the same thing, but if someone can clearly explain to me I'd really appreciate it.

I'd love to know the logistics between NJ and NY with the SB this year. The game is being held in NJ, but radio row, and the NFL Experience will be in Times Square. So NYC gets all the benefits of hotels, tourism dollars, without having to worry about hosting the game.

Hawks D and their "cheating" has been a story all playoffs and IIRC there's been one holding flag and it was blatant, not the sort of thing influenced by the attention. Don't see why that will change.
