Get in while the getting's good imo (or alternatively lol grantland)
Or they want you to think that and grab Seattle now sending the line to a pick.

Super sneaky, but lol. I haven't read the article but I assume the thinking is that everyone loves Peyton, Superbowl is probably the most wagered on event by rec gamblers, so they bet on Denver with their hearts. Doesn't this explain the oddsmakers setting the line in favor of Sea and it moving so fast to Den?

Ya, it's happened before. I'd bet unlimited money they score over 14, though.

Peyton hasn't faced a defense like LOB tho! He doesn't even run the ball so Seattle can just play pass!

I like Peyton as much as anyone, but he's gonna have to work hard for every yard. I'm pulling for him, it will be a thing of beauty if he can carve up this d.

I wonder how much stock we can put into the preseason game at CLink. Peyton pretty much bent them over when he was in, and that was in their building.

Seattle basically gives up 14 a game. While unlikely, 13 isn't unthinkable. The more I read about the game, so much trends the Hawks way save for facing the GOAT QB. It very well could be enough for Denver to win, but still. Hawks have a lot of advantages.

Obviously Harvin trade. They should probably do the trade again if they knew Harvin would be injured most of the season.

TRich trade is pretty much a reason to fire a GM if he came up with it (unfortunately you can't fire the owner).

We're way beyond the point where you're only "maybe" rationalizing. You're beginning to post like Denver's rendition of a 49er fan.

Meh, some Seattle media guy said today that since they beat us 40-10 in preseason the teams confidence is high.

People are just bored and ready for the game and need more to talk about.

Right now the 10 day forecast for the Super Bowl has a high of 35, 9mph wind, and 60% chance of rain/snow. So with a kickoff at 6:30 local time could be below freezing and dropping towards the expected low of 25 that night.

Nothing to suggest there is any need to move the game day but just typical crappy NYC Feb weather.

Loaded up on Den -2.5

Also put a wager on Rustler winning MVP at like +390, which I feel like is great value since the ML is like Sea +115. If Seattle does win, Rustler wins MVP a decent amount I think just for being QB.

11-16, 163 yards, 122.7 passer rating.

Not that it means much, but he did have his way with that defense.

This is a pretty good bet imo. Can't bring myself to back the broncos though.

So still probably gonna load up on the seahawks +2.5.
