This will be the last thing I say about this, because it looks like this topic is just lolme, but this has to be false. In fact, I'd go as far as to say the show runners have left out valuable/crucial information about characters that have hindered their depth.
I think the fact that we have actors who can show expression (and good actors at that) change the thought on some. For instance, Oberyn, while well liked, was never thought to be this bad ass unbelievable character. But Pedro Pascal absolutely KILLED the performance, and now people are trying to remember him as this legendary guy in the book.
I won't say anything else because I don't want to spoil anything, and again, I think it's a dead topic, but I did want to at least say that.
Anyway, I'm glad to see Rome is getting talked about. That was the next show up I wanted to watch. Will definitely be starting it up when I get the chance
