Maybe the Winklevoss twins can run as a singular candidate in opposition to Zuck

This is just a list of losers, incredibly old people, and Oprah. Looking at this list is what is probably motivating Hillary to get back out there--it's like Michael Phelps seeing the pedestrian butterfly times and thinking, "I retired because it was tough...but I can win that fairly easily."

an unimpressive list is what will cause tons of candidates to run. I mean, the D's will nominate someone and Trump is historically unliked. The math is simple.

Look at what just happened in France. some random guy just won the election b/c his opponent was so lol - somebody had to win!

I'm hoping it's Zuckerberg. He has my vote. He's not a career politician and is smart which are the 2 good things! Imagine Trump, but smart and not insane, boom.

Yupp. This is the problem with "there are things happening now that warrant attention."

You can whine about and debate what's going on until your blue in the face but it's not going to accomplish anything. Through 100 days there has been approximately no actual progressive grass roots traction other than a few random protests that got some attention. There were no candidates and there still appear to be no candidates.

The one victory so far has been the response to the travel ban. There's no follow-up though. Where are the massive protests for this healthcare BS? This is massively worse and more important than unfairly ruining the day of a few Mohammads.

exactly who do you want to be President? an 80 year old Bernie Sanders?

Zuckerberg may not seem like a great choice until you consider who the alternatives are. Corey Booker has a great wiki page, but I don't know too much about him

Liz Warren? Tim Kaine? Julian Castro has the 3rd highest odds and I had to google who he was

I don't understand Zuckerberg getting any interest at all. He's too young and has no political history.

Plus the Cuckerberg jokes just write themselves.

Having two parties where the only criteria for candidacy is being rich certainly seems to validate those who said we'd be better in the long run and not at all like fascism

also, the interest in Zuck is b/c he's doing things that look like somebody would do if he was running for President (538 methodology aside). He's visiting all 50 states this year, milking cows, talking to black people, and making sure all of this is publicized. He's not doing traditional political things (like politics breakfasts in New Hampshire) but I think there are reasons that doesn't make sense for him at this stage. he also has a weird clause re: his FB options that signaled he would leave the day to day of the company sometime in the near future,

you could hand wave these things away as "things he might do as CEO of a social networking company" but they weren't things he was doing before (when he was also CEO of said company).

I like Chris Murphy a lot on the Dem side.

Young, energetic, prob not as progressive as I would like but he is def more progressive than Hillary.

Zuck: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard

Zuck: Just ask.

Zuck: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS

[Redacted Friend's Name]: What? How'd you manage that one?

Zuck: People just submitted it.

Zuck: I don't know why.

Zuck: They "trust me"

Zuck: Dumb ****s.
