Sadly, even though I love it, I don't think I'd have taken it #1. Probably a mistake by me though since it's VOR-NESGame is pretty huge.

Super Mario Bros 3 might have been one of the most successful product placements in the history of film also. Who didn't want to buy that game the second The Wizard was over.

People skipping PC era will make me sad. So many successful console titles today (surely some of which will be picked in this draft) are the product of evolution from PC games.

They're different, yeah, but just as important. I imagine people tend to box themselves into one category or the other and thus the draft would be a bunch of fail if people had to go too deep into PC gaming libraries.

Jason Williams is my favorite basketball player of all time but if we did an NBA draft I'd take Michael Jordan #1 and wouldn't draft Williams til round 10+. it's called being objective- even though I'd personally prefer another Zelda game, when I objectively look at things oot is #1. It advanced the series way more than any other game and is just an amazing game. I could go on and on about what makes it so greT but im posting from phone and most of u are already aware of it. Op said that the goal of the draft is to draft the highest quality games, not the games u happened to own and thus subjectively r most drawn to, although obviously there will be crossover.

The Zelda game I personally like best has clear flaws(challenge being biggest one) which would make it a very bad puck this early IMO.

theres also draft value- why take something #2 overall if I can get it later?

i didnt really enjoy ocarina much, wouldnt personally have taken it top 10 for that reason. but its not a bad pick

also there are so much more better PC games than consoles games combined.
