TH2 for DC is one of the highest rated games ever. Everything about it is better on DC.

Still remember doing the leap of faith at the school yard literally countless times.

Just listened to the entire thing. Memory lane. I miss it so much.

haha Tony Hawk.

Def reach, but that game was tons of fun. You could grind basically anything then launch off it doing a 1080 mctwisty back flip or whatever lol.

I don't remember if it was 1 or 2 I played a lot.

YouTube the DC version of the game. It looks so damn smooth.

It was. Still a lol reach but great game.

Chilly is spot on with this one. I'm still convinced the DreamCast was really just a system designed around making THPS2 look as awesome as possible before spending the rest of its life sucking

Dreamcast really was just ahead of it's time.

There's a handful of DC games I'd still play today.

Agree with this but I don't think IRM got it right here:

1) SMB3 IS absolutely still fun to play today, it's not a classic for nostalgia's sake, it's a classic because the game itself is awesome. Graphics are, for me at least, a small piece of the pie.

2) GTA3 was dog**** hahahaohwow.jpg. I liked the successors on PS2 just as much as 3 but when you add in the mind blowing WOW factor at release (the only thing that keeps Goldeneye in the first round imo) it's a no brainer. GTA3 was such a massive step ahead of anything else at the time it's unreal AND it's just as much fun to go back and play today. GTA games hadn't taken their horrible turn on Gritty Avenue and Realism Boulevard yet and were still light and fun.

I know I'm not the only person who's friends would gather in one place for 48 hours of GTA3 on the weekend and then still talk about it all week at school am I?

GTA3 is not dog**** compared to the others at all. Its also still very fun to play.

the immediate undrafted prolly not better than GTA3, sure, but the new system's successor completely antiquates it

my point is more if your argument against a game is that it's obsolete now, that's a pretty stupid point

Respectfully disagree. I'll give you massive "when it was released" points for Goldeneye to be sure, but I find it hard to believe you could like up Goldeneye and [undrafted] N64 game and prefer the former.

Considering there are games taken before and/or around it that are not obsolete now, even some that haven't been taken, yes I think its a valid argument. Way too much nostalgia surrounding that game imo, and I say that willing to admit that I like plenty of older games still to this day.

ItsRainingMen

That's just so hugely wrong. The game you're talking about was a 7/10 game with pretty visuals and HUGE gameplay issues (I'd like to finish typing this post but I'd better answer my cell phone first). It was borderline unplayable at points (****, cell phone again), and the story elements were almost entirely forgettable.

The DLCs actually helped save the story a bit (one sec, cell's ringing), but it was still no where near the previous generations GTAs in terms of total game.

I'd love to explain further but my cell phone is going off.

All I know is that I got one of maybe 3 still playable games from the worst era to draft games in this draft.

Don't see how me and the LttP guy aren't miles ahead right now.

one of three old games me & my friends still occasionally play

There is another old game that whenever it gets drafted I will point out that I think it is vastly superior to its successors.

I'd play it today with some friends if I knew someone who had it.

What was your pick (OoT maybe?). Whatever it was, it wasn't Madden so you're beating him by a mile at least.
