I'd like to add the point that because of the overall weakness of the fighting game genre actually makes Sf2 about more valuable in the same way that a serious lack of talent at the center position makes Dwight Howard more valuable in basketball.

yeah there are 2-3 i can think of off the top of my head that are close. SF2 just blows them away in terms of popularity, sales, mass appeal.

SF2 isn't my favorite fighting game.

The only reason I'd hate on SC as a pick so early is that the class of GOAT-level PC games is so deep that there's not much opportunity cost in passing on a game like StarCraft this early in favor of some elite console titles that will likely go off the board faster. As far as its worth in this draft, though, you can't argue with the quality and popularity of SC.

Can't really argue with any of the picks so far. Sm3 would have been my number 1 too. SC is an LDO top pick as well.

Hopefully not everyone drafts this well. Bad picks are way more entertaining

Sure, but you could entirely ignore the fighting genre and have a very good, diverse selection of games. I don't believe that the lack of a fighting game would be a glaring omission.

in the ARCADE arena, definitely.

the trouble with mario3 is the replay value. like, i sit down and play it more than any other game i own, but on avg i play it for 20 mins and get bored, unless im with an old friend and we're breezing thru mario all-stars

also, def need a list for teh draft.
