who should i be looking out for?

wasn't trying to say that he's ducking anyone at all, i agree he's taken tough fights. good for him, glad to see a guy do that. my point was just that he hasn't got too many fights in over the years, so why waste any going against soup cans when he does get out there?

to be honest, this is a pretty low level card and one of the worst (talent-wise) they've done in a long time. With that said, the cliche is that the worst cards on paper usually produce some of the best fights, and that's been mostly true in my experience.

The main card has a few good fights. Jake v Jake is good, and Ellenberger could get close to title contention with a win. Belcher v McDonald is a good mid-level fight.

For the prelim card, these are my highlights:

Cody Mckenzie vs Vagner Rocha could be an awesome grappling fight. McKenzie is 12-1 with 11 guillotine chokes. arguably the best single submission in the UFC, but that might be all he has. Rocha is a BJJ-based fighter as well, so this could be fun.

Evan Dunham is fighting, and trying to regain momentum after dropping two in a row to Sherk and Guillard.

Basically, the majority of the card is guys in their first or second fight in the UFC. Lots of fighters looking to prove something. Almost nobody on this card has a secure roster spot, so nearly every fight is a fight for your promotional life. While it means we're not getting big names, it is free MMA and that factor could make for some good fights.

wouldn't miss this because i cannot remember the last UFC card that disappointed.

alot of TUF fighters on the card. Honestly I'd rather watch Oklahoma/Florida st. I'll prob tune in for the shields fight though
