Did Khabib actually land a strike on someone? All I saw was him being promptly stopped by 100 security guards. Obviously Khabib's red shirt friend should go to jail.

Another thing I noticed is when he got Conor in the neck crank, he didn't let go the first time Conor tapped. He actually kept it on until Herb Dean broke it up.

Conor actually did better defending than I expected. I thought he would get ragdolled. But you could see the desperation in his face starting around the second round. Khabib is absolutely insane.

I still don't know why Khabib stood with him in the third round. It made no sense when he was dominating so much on the ground.

Well post-inevitable Khabib suspension will be him fighting Tony Ferguson. Man will that be a fight.

Could be wrong but It felt to me that Khabib was not scared of Conors striking there for a short period after he had rocked Conor and had Conor extremely tired. I think he wanted to embarrass Conor. Once Conor landed a couple of shots, that seemed to go out the window and he went back to diving at him wanting to get it back on the ground.

Go back to boxing. Khabib vs Ferguson will be an amazing fight because both guys are good on the ground, Mcgregor is average on the ground and that's why it was one sided once it got there. In mma you better be good everywhere.

LOL at Rogan and Cruz ripping on Khabib for his post-fight actions (not that I condone) and not commenting on UFC using the bus incident as part of the pre-fight build-up. At least Khabib was going after one person, not a ton of innocent bystanders.

Khabib gets a submission with a rear naked choke(cranked neck) and the goes insane after the fight, jumps over the cage and goes after 1 of Conor's coaches. Then one of Khabib's team mates jumps into the octagon and attacks Conor from behind, landing several punches.

Believe it or not, Conor was the calmest person in the arena after the fight.

In fairness, boxing would be the most entertaining sport if it was not 100% rigged, the best fighters didn't duck each other and they had smaller gloves.

I just rewatched the last bit -- Connor got attacked by 3 of Khabibs buddies in the Octogon, not 1. Bare knuckle. Insane. Connor threw one counter to the first guy -- then 2 more guys attacked him. These Russians don't give AF.

Ya McGregor had no chance to counter vs Khabib on the ground, he was just doing his best to play defense and not get rekt completely, which obv ended up happening anyways. I think Khabib did want to box with him for a bit just to show him/world that he can go toe to toe in any form of fighting to beat Conor.

Anyways was a amazing fight and card to watch regardless, the after fight altercations were just a bonus. Will be interesting see how everything plays out from this point.

Listen people, Mcgregor went at Khabib's family, his religion & tried to create a riff between Chechneans and Dagestani's, this wasn't fight promotion to these guys. UFC needed more security in the front row, i blame them.
