The campaign leading up to this fight is deplorable. Ronda doesn't need to make any appearances but conor does the same thing and Dana kicks him off UFC 200. Ronda is Dana's baby for sure.

Also, the ads for the fight are photoshopped to make Nunez look like a white girl and honestly borderline racist.

Hope Ronda gets knocked the **** out.

Just rewatched Nunez vs Tate and Nunez is really kinda LOL. She could barely contain Miesha when she had a broken nose and left herself wide open. I hope Ronda loses but Idk.

Isnt Ronda managed by the same group that bought the UFC? She will definately get special treatment.

I enjoyed Ronda's run of destroying scrubs in 10 seconds but I think I turned on her when the media started covering her like she could compete with the men and people talking about how she could fight Floyd. Im really hoping for a Holm style ass-kicking which will prob send Ronda into retirement.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Dana White her manager?

There's a difference between manager and agent when it comes to WME, but I don't know what it is exactly (Chael Sonnen explained it) and I don't care, but she definitely gets special treatment.

Ronda looked amazing at the weigh in (which she stormed out from). The more I think about it, I don't see how she doesn't armbar Nunes asap. Don't think she's that stupid to stand with her. Holly Holm probably beats Ronda 8/10 times, but Nunes, idk. Many question marks around her. Hopefully she clips her early and she retires.

UFC is ****** to replace Goldberg.
Dont change something that ain't broken by something that won't even be better anyway.

Probably some kind of payback favors would explain that move.

New owners prbly don't want someone who's charmingly inept.

Except it was very broken. Goldberg was horrible, especially in the last couple of years.

Well yeah ok, he seemed a bit off lately but he probably knew a bit of the rumors of him being ejected.
Everyone gets affected by those things imo.

As for being terrible, taste cannot be discussed much so if you think so , its fine by me .
But I saw others do much worst then him in other "mainstream" sports like hockey, baseball, etc...

Anyway i just hope they won't replace him by ******s that try to steal the show ...

Goldie seems like one of those guys who you kind of miss when he's gone. If you look at UFC highlight reel events, his tone and words at the key moments capture the moment pretty well (obv he half plans them, but who cares).

I like him. Reminds me of madden and although other commentators are more informative and offer more useful commentary, he gave it a certain something. Got old at times but I miss him and Rogan when it is anyone else maybe just due to the familiarity.

Ya I don't want him to go but his last broadcast kinda drove home all the issues.

Jim Rome might be Mike Goldberg's replacement!? YUK!! What the hell, WME!? Who will replace Joe Rogan in presumably 2018?

Just get Jon Anik and Brian Stann in!

I doubt it but I def hope ronda loses, can't stand the way she acted after her loss. Mcgregor had the same and handled it awesome.

Very exicted for cruz vs cody to, im thinking cruz will ko him

Ronda, with her personal history, arguably has some mental health issues and what she perceived to be 'invincibility' coupled with a fairly brash attitude (to put it politely) was her 'defence mechanism'. It was destroyed by her loss to Holly Holm and it took three months or so for her to recover mentally.

She can't handle losing and is a bad loser. She will have superficially no height or reach advantages over Amanda Nunes (a one inch difference between the two in both height and reach). If she chooses to box against Amanda then she is likely in trouble. Ronda has to do what she does best...spam the takedown and force a submission.

I think the 'no media' clause for Ronda for UFC 207 was put in her contract. It helps that WME are representing her and also own UFC...which feels just wrong and a 'conflict of interest'.

If Ronda comes to box, it'll likely be Nunes by brutal KO. If Ronda avoids all of Edmund's advice and sticks to her judo then it'll likely be a typical win via armbar.

If there are odds on "Will Ronda Rousey announce her retirement in the immediate post-fight interview like Miesha Tate?" then I'd be tempted to bet on 'yes' especially if she loses. Ronda is probably that temperamental.

Conor McGregor has done remarkably well but it helps that his positive mental attitude and ego is just ridiculously high. Don't think he'd be so well adjusted if the second Nate Diaz fight was scored against him though but that's moot and merely a 'pub argument' of 'ifs, buts and maybes'.

Im curious to see how this PPV sells. Talking to alot of people i know who watch every now and again only a few knew Ronda was fighting soon and none knew it was on tonight. UFC/Ronda seem to be banking on the fact that she is back is big enough promotion for the card but i have my reservations.
