confirmed, last fight was 30-25, 30-25, 30-27

The way they explained the new scoring rules is basically now 10-9 round scoring is reserved for really close close rounds so 10-8 scorings should be alot more likely.

Thought Brunson clearly won that fight, although I may well have been influenced by the commentary. Either way, Silva was unimpressive. If his opponent won't lead, he just won't so anything.

I thought the commentary was garbage in that fight.
DC wrestler bias was in full effect.

Particularly with the new scoring rules, brunson never looked like he had a chance of finishing the fight. Old rules... even then I don't think he wins.

Even in Silva's prime he was like that. The Cote and Lates fights he just stood there and waited for them to commit.

That is why UFC put him with Griffin because they knew he would fight and Silva would be able to counter.

He's just never really been one to go on the offensive like a McGregor.

And that is why his clowning was actually effective. He always got his opponents to commit first by taunting them.

I was in the arena, and not many people around me thought he won. I can see him getting a decision but 30-27 score was clearly a joke.

I saw most of Poirier-Miller and it was a good fight even though majority decision. By all accounts most of the card sucked though.

Poirier-Miller & Jacare-Boetsch were good, Teixeira-Cannonier was OK, rest of card was meh.

Worst thing about the night though was the officials - some terrible reffing and scoring going on.

Dana was on interviews again saying how Mcgregor is under contract. He sounded kinda pissed when discussing the boxing match. Said he hasn't spoken to Conor since he had his little Q and A couple weeks back.
